Sorry I’m not dodging
I just realized that I’ve done this a lot. I forget to change my challenge in the rift after completing one then get into a lobby then back out as a killer just to switch my challenge. I’ve come to the conclusion that others probably have been doing this a lot too because killers have been backing out when I do survivor challenges a lot more than they use to before the first rift was released. I almost feel bad because I know how bad the survivor que times are but the ability to switch challenges during a lobby needs to be an option. Any other killers do this? I don’t have a lot of time to play as is so I don’t want to waste time playing matches without having a challenge active but if the match starts and I forgot to switch challenges I don’t d/c

Some do it for that, others do out of spite of the survivor loadout. If you aren't on XBox, then they don't get booted out of that round and just wait for the next killer.
It's an honest human mistake if we forget something. I've gotten into a lobby and had to leave because real life was like "I exist you know".

I am on xbox but I use to be on PS4 but I’ve never dodged lobbies because of survivors loadouts. Never really cared enough to and don’t mind a challenge even if I don’t get any kills which is super rare

Yeah, its dumb that you have to quit queue to enter shop/rift

Devs can't even keep you in a lobby half the time when you enter the rift/archives, there's no way those monkeys could code for you to be able to change the challenge midway through matchmaking countdown.

Doesn't the lobby disappear when the killer does? So, unless they were actually weren't SWF, they wouldn't be able to communicate that to each other...
Killer Rank 11 here, who constantly faces red ranks on PS4... I pretty much dodge any lobby with a Claudette. Sorry, not sorry. Claudette is a red flag for me, and I just don't want to deal with it. Queue times are instant on PS4 for killer, so I get to pick the load out I want to play against.

The lobby doesn't close when the killer leaves the lobby. The lobby is server side and the killers leave it like a survivor would as they are not the host. They're then put to the front of the queue for a killer. Dodging lobbies have literally 0 impact on survivors anymore.
It's also a silly thing to feel bad for one way or another

With dedicated servers, the survivors can stay in a lobby after the killer leaves.

Sometimes I'll be in the middle of a game and then... gotta go afk. I could be completely stomping a team, just to leave them VERY confused at the end as they walk out the exit gates, lol.
