They will most likely not bring back P2P.
They lied to the playerbase that there is a test of Dedicated Servers - they are released, XBox is next.
The Servers are horrible, the majority would prefer P2P. At least with P2P I know that the Killer has unstable Ping or that my Ping to the Killer is high, with Dedicated Servers, I only see that I have 35 Ping, but dont know if the Killer is a VPNing Huntress, someone who is casually playing DBD while eating a Big Mac at McDonalds or someone who just is unlucky and has a high Ping (if 150 and below is the goal, 150 is not good to begin with...).
So yeah, I guess we have to endure this horrible Servers if we want to continue playing DBD. At least Huntress is easy now, maybe I should start learning her.

Yeah,idk what to say to ya. Like I said in alot of previous posts about all the dedi server hits,i experience them like once in 10 games. Killers get bs pallet stunned/stolen hits cause of the auto aim correction or the hit just not working for some reason at times. Killers have also been experiencing sound issues for the past 3 months,and are still playing even tho the state of the game for killers is dogshit(I mean all the lower tier killers,matchmaking issues aswell). They said they are working on improving window hits pretty sure on their latest dev stream,we have to wait and see how that will turn out if they ever finish working on it ofcourse

That Leatherface one was the most BS. I hope this shows that not everyone is all rosy on the survivor side as some killer mains think it is. This is one of the reasons why survivors can be so salty sometimes. Itโs not always that theyโre angry at you its the fact that they feel cheated by the game.

This in a nutshell first it was starbreeze lying now behavior has lost the trust of the community if they were gonna release them they should have just been straight up this whole 6 month server test was straight bs.

Yeah, dedicated servers are just nothing but a frustration at this point.
However if it makes you feel any better, the killers also have problems with them. Having a delay on your power can really cripple timing-dependent killers like Nurse, Hag, or Myers/Ghostface.
I wish they would just go back to peer-to-peer. Though it looks like they have set their mind on ruining people's gameplay experience.

I can understand the frustration, I think a lot of us have been there. Lately those are the things that annoy me about this game.
I'm curious to know what they will be doing when they talk about somehow lowering the distance so it looks the same on both screens for those M1's. Not sure how they would fix Huntress' hatchets.

Yeah, this is the thing that pisses me off the most - they said it is a test. A test will end at some point. But they just released the Servers, despite them being bad. I mean, they were even worse before, but they are still not ready to be released.
I really wish they would go back to P2P and do another Server test in a few months. But this will not happen.

Dont come here and expect any sympathy for those bullshit hits. This is entitled killer world, they dont care. They are way to butthurt because for ruin nerf.
Topic: This happens all the time to me aswell. When you are good at looping you suffer the most, since you know the normal timing and you know this should not be a hit. Dedicated servers are a total mess, everyone knows it, but hardly anybody would admit it, since ... again... entitled killer main world here.

I saw the whole thing. The example at the killer shack was their excuse and explantion for the BS hits, but in reallity this was just a wonderful showcase that servers and their whole system is just a total mess.
EDIT: If stuff like this would be the case in games like CS GO, the Pro scene would be dead instantly. Just unplayable.

Dbd was never meant to be a professional game. Also, they explained why dbd is different from other games. In dbd there is always someone running away from another while in the other games the players go towards each other.
The same happens on the other games when someone is running away from another person. They said they are testing and trying to implement a movement prediction mechanic to minorize that gap between pings.

Dedicated Servers have just demolished any chance of me playing Huntress. I donโt get free hits like anyone else, my hatchets just poof on through the person because of LaTEnCy

So did we not see the devstream where they explained basically all of what happened?
Hits are registered on killer side. If they hit, they hit. If there's a lag between you two, it may look like a miss. This isnt new. It happened with p2p as well.
You may have fine ping, but if the killer doesnt, his registered hit wont show on your screen until the server sees it.
Like, I get it, it sucks. Happens to me too. But it's not gonna be fixed in the near future, and the best you can do is not take those vaults, accept that 360s are 50/50, and move on.
Also, the second huntress hit looks like your capsule was in the box, where she hit. It's stupid af, but that's how the hitboxes work. =/

I think for me it's usually yelling "HOW!?" instead of 'what' (with the full interrobang), but I feel it!

If you are trying to work on anger issues, the worst thing you can do (and any anger management counselor will tell you the same thing) is do something that infuriates you so much. You can't get better and continue to enable yourself.

I feel your pain on a lot of those hits. However, switching to killer isn't going to help your frustration level. Your just going to be frustrated watching your axe go right through people and not getting the hit.

I don't think anyone is happy with dedicated servers across the board at this point. Every killer I play the most is super crippled by them. I feel like the community as a whole is really approaching a breaking point. They're creating more bugs than they're fixing while pushing more cosmetics and a battle pass, and still not addressing elephants in the room from a balance perspective. It's a really bad look.
