Suggestion for a Weekend Event: Perk Fiesta

So, hear me out

We have Double BP event that they don’t even do often (they should)

so let’s have weekends where they unlock all the perks for everyone on Ranked so people can actually try perks without committing to buying characters, let them try builds, be memelords, party hard, be silly, be imaginative, do random perk builds, etc

so people can decide what character to buy next

its a win-win situation if you ask me

yeah but then people will see that most perks are kinda meh and thus wont buy a character.

I like the idea of this. It seems like it would encourage different builds which is good because the meta right now is boring to play and boring to play against IMO. i also wish they would just change the bloodweb to be less tedious. There is nothing exciting about unlocking the same set of perks for the 20th time just on a different killer / survivor.

Personally I like the idea of what some youtubers do with the perk roulette thing. Like make that a secondary game type where survivors can choose who they want since they’re all the same just different skins with no real powers. But all their perks are randomized. Killer is random and doesn’t know who they’re gonna get till start of match and again, random perks. Don’t bother making it ranked and just have it as a silly party game for if you’re bored of toxic crap and try hards in the ranked section.

You know, a weekend like this would be good opportunity to try out other things with perks too.

For me, what comes to mind is giving every character a 5th perk slot that can only hold one of the teachables from that character. If the reaction is positive, maybe they’d put it in the normal game! (With so many perks now, and more to come, something like this needs to happen.)

While I’ll absolutely love new game modes like this, we can see this subject is very touchy for the devs, not wanting to segregate the player base, survivors already have queue problems, and I’m just suggesting something very simple that they can do in like 5 minutes if they wanted to
