Why we must play the new killer, if we have the huntress?

I would like to see your opinion, I think the new killer is an identical version of Huntress, but the difference is that huntress throws an ax and gives, if this new killer hits the shot it is like an ... ax, I think they should do something , to make it different.

The HUNTRESS can hit through drops pallets, this killer does not, I really stay with the Huntress

It's fun seeing survivors getting dragged and a killer with a 'gun' that works, if you don't want to have fun, go try-hard style with the huntress and throw hatchets

Because he seems fun and is slightly easier than huntress

He is a lot more fun imo, and reels in survivors to windows so you can slap them. He can also reload from anywhere on the map which is a big difference.

He was some advantages to huntress

-The gun is faster, more difficult for survivors to dodge and easier for the killer to aim. The time it takes the harpoon to reach the survivor is almost instant.

-He doesn't have to go to lockers to reload

    - he pulls survivors towards him. This gives him an advantage in the end game that no other killer has. Injured survivors cannot wait at the edge of exit gate like they normally do without risking getting pulled back.

However his disadvantages to the huntress are stronger than any of his advantages. If he could pull survivors through pallets then he'd be more on par.

While i understand the similarities on the fact that both use projectile to hit Survivors, there are differences that can definitely spice things up imho.

Huntress doesn't reel, takes time to raise the hatchets and throwing them. This killer can shoot way more based on "reflexes". Still it definitely wasn't meant to be an upgraded Huntress, that's why it has some cons compared to her.

I think it's normal for people to have different tastes, so in the end there will be those who will stick with Huntress, and those that prefer to Sling some Death around. 😁

Well I believe some parts of this killer to be much better than the huntress. If you get a hatchet off on someone a good 16m away from you, they’re going to get a speedboost and good survivors aren’t going to stick around. With DSlinger, you can reel em in, damage them AND get a Deep Wound off all while keeping them very close to you. He can’t snipe like Huntress but his reload is much much more efficient.

He can hit through small loops, hook them then walk around. He also has better stealth and gives slowdown via deep wounds.
