PS4 connection issues since the dedicated server
Has anyone else that plays on PS4 had connection issues since the dedicated servers were implemented? I NEVER got disconnected from a lobby or a match before the dedicated servers came into play. It happens once or twice every 2 or 3 days since the dedicated servers. It wasn't really an issue until the DC penalties started.
I don't know if it's something to do with my geographical location or what, but it's extremely frustrating. I was in a match earlier where I had just opened the door and was two steps from getting out when I got disconnected. Not only did I lose my points, but I then had a 10 minute penalty for disconnects that were none my fault.
That time like every other I went and did a network test on my PS4. Great results. Try to load DBD and get told I have a network problem. Load Youtube, network is fine. Videos are playing, Try to load DBD, and it tells me there are network problems. I have been disconnected from DBD servers and received the message that there are network problems and immediately loaded other online games and not had a problem. When I try to reload DBD I get told it can't load because of network problems.
In other words the network problems are not on my end. While I haven't had to experience a significant penalty yet it's still frustrating that I am getting penalized because of problems that aren't on my end and I can do absolutely nothing about.

I don't get any disconnects, but most of my games are extremely laggy and that's with under 70m/s ping

That's the thing. My games are way less laggy than before the dedicated servers, but I get disconnects now and never got them at all before. It was actually a welcome tradeoff before I started being punished for servers that are not reliable.

I haven't had any dc issues and I even have crappy internet.

I have great internet. The only time it ever goes out is if there is a power outage. That's part of the reason this is so frustrating. If I had bad internet I would just realize the issue was on my end and there was nothing I could do about it. But Nothing else on the PS4 has had a single issue. I can stream 1080p Netflix without buffering. My laptop doesn't have any connection issues. All these things operate on the same internet. Yet the only thing time I get connection issues is playing DBD. That only started after the dedicated servers started. It is way more than coincidental that the only connection issues I have take place under one condition, and that condition is playing DBD.

I have heard other people say that too. That's one of the reasons I wonder if it has something to do with my location. Some issue between my location and BHVR or something.

Always green ping with no dcs. Ps4

It has to be something with South Texas then. That's all I can figure because DBD is the only thing I have any sort of connectivity issues with at all.
