Sabotaging
It's ridiculously powerful with SWF's; fin
Also since anyone with a toolbox can break it in like 2.5 seconds since they're all 99'd basically and BHVR literally got rid of the set up does anyone know how fast they come back?

It goes back in like 10 seconds

Is that the exact amount of time?

Wouldn't be surprised if no one on the dev team even considered SWF when thinking about the changes.

You cant 99 them is my understanding. Hooks return in 30 seconds I think.
3 -
You forgot this tibit
Killers may not hook a Survivor on a hook that is currently being sabotaged.
You don't even have to break the hook.

They cannot be 99'd. Toolboxes have *significantly* less charges. Sabo perk has a minute cooldown. And there are multiple perks that will let you get to a further hook.
No mither sabo squads were much, much worse than what is possible now

Please whine a bit more.
there are a few outcomes, they sabotage the hook the moment you get there and they wiggle free. Too bad, just get another person downed. The cool down for the perk being used is 60 seconds, the hook respawns in 30. You can’t hook if a survivor is sabotaging it so hit them, use mad grit. I don’t see the negative here, ultimately you are just will be outplayed compared to completely denied of your objective which is what the old sabotage did.
Even then, if they use toolboxes that will be risky considering they should use those instead for gens. Either way you are hurting their progress towards a victory.

correct.

They're basically just as fast as if you 99'd was the point I was trying to come across

It's pretty ridiculous, if you've seen it in action - If you see multiple people doing rotating sabo'ing hooks, you may as well go AFK @_@
1 -
And you know this because you have played a dozen or so games against SWF teams using that strategy? No? Because I think you are probably jumping to conclusions here.

Slugs it is...

Well, he is arguing that someone is getting outplayed by losing access to the objective because someone held M1 for 2.5s. @_@
I imagine them hunched over their keyboard, holding M1 for 2.5s - "Outplayed, #########."

But it's not that simple is it? When a killer downs a survivor there is typically 2-3 hooks that the killer could carry the survivor to. So the potential would-be savior has to be both nearby when a survivor goes down but also has to get to and sabotage the hook before the killer carries the survivor to it. That isn't as simple as just holding m1 for 2.5s. The killer also has plenty of outplay potential and plenty of counters. Iron grasp, agitation, mad grit or hangman's trick all work. Just plain old situational awareness goes a long way too.

What isn't ridiculously OP with SWF? SWF is ridiculously OP. You can't balance around that.

It really is a trash idea as it stands.Just being near a killer who has downed somebody gives you a very high chance to rob them of their hook. Denying a hook is huge, it should come with a massive investment, in this case the set up time or damage sustained by bodyblocking, likely multiple hits. But this is turning it into a really solid option to just casually throw out with no planning ahead and little to no investment. If this doesn't at least get doubled in sabo time required by the time it hits live I certainly foresee a lot of "######### why are survivor queues so much longer" complaints

It's not as powerful as I expected after seeing the initial sabo speed for solo or 2 man swf. You'll want breakout and sabo to make the most of it, then a toolbox so you can sabo more than 1 hook. Hooks are still really close together
A 4 man swf could do it but at least they're off gens and hooks respawn much faster now.
On a side note does anyone know where to report bugs for this ptb?

this reminds me of the flashlight apocalypse. Everyone and their mother is going to exploit this. it will just be face camping, tunneling, moris and long lobbys.

Thank you.

Doesn't matter when they return. The survivor has already gotten free. Now the killer has lost their hook while there are 2 survivors on gens. The hooks do not have be 99%, they are pretty much at a perpetual 90-95% of the old time it took to sabotage.
0 -
In my opinion it should be 4 seconds along with the killer being 115%

I've been watching a streamer play in a 2 man swf for past few hours and can confirm saboing hooks is op now. The balance team are continuing to show their incompetence.

Of course it's OP. Anyone with a brain can see how strong this is going to be, especially since you can't hook if a survivor is already working on the hook. Killer equivalent of this would be Pop no longer requiring a hook to use. Any time you kick a gen, instant 25% regression with a small cooldown.

You don't need to 99 if it takes you 2.5 seconds to break one...

Yah I don't like this AT ALL. I think the hooking animation should interrupt the action of sabo. This seems a bit too much.

Have you played on Blackwater Swamp? That's bullshit right there
