changes deathslinger without making him 115% speed
Since all of the other 110% movement speed killers have strong power to back up I think Deathslinger should have his power buffed to match the other slow killers
- Let him drag survivors over pallets. His power is kinda like clowns in a way that it doesn't really stop loops but just makes survivors throw the pallet down early
- Increase hitbox size. The fact that you only get 1 shot and survivors have the possibility to escape the chain there really isn't no reason it has to be harder to hit than huntresses hatchets
- Reeling a survivor in with the chain should push other survivors away. When reeling survivors in with the chain other survivors can easily block the chain. While I can agree that standing infront of the chain should make it break fast it should stop the speared survivor from moving closer to the killer

Agreed. Another poster and I presented the same idea yesterday. He has a bayonet, so a bayonet charge attack seems like it would make perfect sense.

Longer range, with dragging speed being made proprtional to the distance of the shot. So hitting someone fairly close has the default reel speed, whereas a long distance shot would send them flying towards you.

Letting him drag people over pallets removes one of the only defenses survivors have from him. Windows are already not entirely safe since he can hit caught survivors through them, without pallets then your only choice is to break line of sight with him, which isn't always possible. And without breaking line of sight you have to just hope you can dodge and get to a tile with some kind of obstacles.

Replace number 3 with the survivors just having less control over the chain and I think those 3 would make him solid.

I think it's extremely dumb that survivors get a sprint burst when they break free from the chain, so there's literally no upside to hooking them at times, and I think you should be able to use your harpoon to lessen your distance with survivors at least.

I was thinking making him reload his gun during his weapon wipe animation would help alot with giving his power more fluidity. ATM, he kinda has a double cooldown between the blood wipe and reload after a successful reel-in.

I like those ideas, I think they should do the same thing they did to the Hag, they buffed her in a way that she didn't needed 115% ms.

I agree. He already suffers from Gen Pressure it seems. There's no reason he shouldn't be a 115% speed Killer.

I mean I don’t think you’re wrong, but these changes would really just make a Huntress 2.0. The 2 of them would become really similar and his power on it’s own really isn’t that bad. It’s his map presence that really hurts him because he’s got practically none with how slow he is.
