Not every survivor main is like that nice generalization

nice bait

well yes but actually no

In today's cultural climate someone has been offended so now you must publicly apologize for some reason.
You have to manually check every single survivor main before you can have a blanket opinion otherwise everyone is offended.
Did you know if you bind flashlight to mouse wheel you become empowered with all of the knowledge and experience of all survivor mains past future and present?
Become like the entity. Absorb the survivors.

I loooooove smashing em!

I don’t recall saying these things.

the only reason you can play the game is because of those awful awful survivor mains think before you say something

I hate killer mains too bud
1 -
I didn't recall anyone asking
1 -
Who asked?
1 -
It's not all of them. There's nice Survivor mains out there who don't think they're entitled to everything.
I can understand why you'd hate the other type of players though.

Can someone explain to me how the ######### Borrowed time works? because according to the DBD wiki, the hooked guy who i hit during borrowed time after he was unhooked, has 20 seconds to heal up. but i chased him for 20 seconds and the timer didnt go down and suddenly the effect just wore off and he was injured. he was never put in to a dying state.
i feel cheated. Why did the timer stop?
0 -
So you tunneled him for 20 seconds and YOU feel cheated? Lmao!
0 -
Borrowed time. The survivor has 20 seconds to be hit, during which they are then affected with deep wounds. The timer of this does not go down while mending or while running. It's better to chase the unhooker in cases of borrower, by the way, because they might also have decisive strike in case they get tunneled straight off of hook.
0 -
i only thought legions attack timer wouldnt start when chased, i figured borrowed time was different.
that doesnt seem all that fair.
Also when someones being unhooked, whats the best course of action? because ive tried to hit an injured guy trying to unhook, but for some reason, that hit didnt do a damn thing. its like when you unhook, you are invulnerable or something. i need to wait for the person to be unhooked before i can hit?
0 -
I don't hate any mains 🤷🏻♂️
1 -
Whats wrong with going for a guy thats been hooked and is then closer to dying which is my objective?
You are not entitled to survive and its my job to murder you. Why would i not go for the hooked guy that was unhooked when he is closer to death?
0 -
This sounds attention bearing and biased... Hm.
Wonder what that could make.
2 -
(Time to write a novella, bear with me).
No, legions deep wounds and borrowed times deep wounds are the same, unfortunately.
To me, the best course of action is to hit the unhooker. If they haven't managed to unhook yet, then they'll either run away (free first hit for an easy chase) or they'll trade (free hook, free pressure).
Even if they've unhooked before you got there, when faced with either the healthy or the injured, I like to chase the healthy unhooker. This is because:
-Applies more pressure (either someone is an easy down, or they spend time healing before they work on gens again)
-You avoid pesky perks like ds and bt, whilst also ensuring people have a chance to play the game.
Perks like Make Your Choice are helpful in the aforementioned situation, btw.
To the best of my knowledge and experience, survivors aren't invulnerable when unhooking, just make sure to actually hit the unhooker, not the person already on hook. If they're hook teaching and standing inside the survivor, the easy course of action here is therefore to just stand there... and wait... Either you get a hit as they trade, get a free excuse to facecamp and pressure three survivors (one on hook, on under the hook, and one running in to save only to realise you're there because someone else is).
Good luck my friend, I hope you manage to win some games :)
(Oh and remember, this is all from my personal experience and knowledge of the game, don't take it as gospel, and of course there will be exceptions).

First of all, if we, players, want the best for this game, we should stop looking at things as "survivor-sided" or "killer-sided". The game needs both sides to exist, so we'd better try to find what brings the most fun to both sides, without excluding one or another. I understand what you said though, SOME people say that, but don't generalize. If you say that all "survivor mains" are like that, you should expect those same "survivor mains" to affirm stereotypical things regarding "killer mains" about you. However, if you'd like my personal opinion on the things you mentioned, Hillbilly is balanced, Doctor is strong (just like all killers should be), and Decisive Strike deserves a change since it's way too exploitable. Not to be "killer-biased", Freddy also needs changes. His power requires no skill, since it's passive (Dream World).

The unhooker is not invulnerable while unhooking, but the person on the hook is and it is possible to accidently hit them, so you have to be careful with that.
I guess the best argument is that BT and DS exist, so instead of one hit you might need three. If the unhooked guy is a quite good looper it might also be a mistake to concentrate on him.

that actually brings me to another question. are Pallets fixed on the game maps? or do they spawn randomly?
because seemingly some people knows exactly where they are at all times.
they dont appear to me to be random, which i think they should be. at least it would make it harder for survivors to do these annoying loops. when ive been chasing a guy for 3 minutes straight (which is stupid of me to do but i get annoyed) then i tend to camp him till he dies.
If they are random, at least i guess Kudos to the people that can loop well. as sickening it is to be against though.
0 -
They are random but not completly. Each map has potential spawns for pallets, but not every spawn has a pallet every game, but there are certain spots that always have a pallet like the cow tree and the Killer shack. Experienced survivor know these spots and can somewhat predict where pallets are.
I know that is probably not want you want to hear, but please don't get annoyed, alot of survivors won't care if you camp them after such a long chase, because they feel, they have already won. The matchmaking sadly tends to put lower Rank Killers against higher ranked survivors, and some of them sadly think it's cool to be a Bully to a new Player.
0 -
They randomly spawn in the same set locations. In one game there will be a pallet on the end of a jungle gym but the next game on the same map there won't be one there. There's just a pattern of where they may appear, also it's easier to spot with the third person camera on survivor than it is on the narrow first person killer camera.
0 -
I'm sorry, you didn't mean "the game" specifically right? But on this Map pallets should also be random, but I feel "the game" has more fixed pallet spots than other Maps.
0 -
Usually depends on the ones that you get.
0 -
I see. thank you
0 -
That's borderline racism :kappa:
But I get what you mean, killer have to "adapt" or just learn to apply "pressure", survivors just have to complain about an issue on the forums and it will be dealt with.
Still waiting for news as to why plauge starting with one corputed fountain isn't on the ptb. Or if it is I didn't see it in the patch notes and I haven't seen any footage of it, I play console so I can't use the PTB myself

I hate mains.

The only reason survivors can play is because of killer mains. If the devs keep this up, survivor wait times are gonna get awful long.
0 -
Sure, like killers mains don't camplain

Sorry to kidnap the thread but I have a question about toxic survivors. So I play on Xbox and when I get toxic messages after a game as killer these people are also often sending me an invite to play with them again, why do they do this? Is that a way for them to get some info on me they want perhaps that they can't get otherwise? Or they just want another chance after a loss.
0 -
Those are not survivor mains, they are crybaby mains. And there are lots of them on both sides.

Careful, threads like these get you jailed, because if you call them out on why they are wrong in a sarcastic way that's making "bait threads".
0 -
So if I am both a killer and Survivor main you hate me?
Cause I do indeed remember asking for DS to be reworked again, saying NoEd is completely fine, Doctor is balanced, and Billy is fine
0 -
While killers are asking for nerf ds, nerf bt, nerf toolboxes, nerf ds, nerf dh, nerf adrenaline, nerf pallets, nerf Haddonfield, nerf coldwind, nerf safe window loops, nerf shack. Stop being entitled both sides need fixes stop acting like killers never get kills. Half the posts on these fourms are killers but of course your so goddamm bias and entitled you have to stereotype survivors mains. If Your just gonna make a post insulting people instead of making actual discussions then Why are you posting?
