Green keys shouldn't be in chests
Why is an item that has no value without an add on available in chests? I don't want to always run ace in the hole just to get a use of an item because it can't be used without one? Not to mention even though it can't be used to open hatch, some killers tunnel when they see keys. If they don't get taken out of the game, they should be at least be taken out of chests.

Agreed. Or perhaps a broken key should contain a common or uncommon add on with it? Such as Eroded token

I personally like the variance in looting, although I do wish green keys had a better use - especially since there's no default way to use them without addons.

They should have SOME function if it can be found in a chest, otherwise thats just the entity laughing at you

At least if you escape you can bring it but it’s still pretty useless. Having an add on with it would make it better. Or making the green key have some sort of purpose without add ons

This. That's not a particularly strong effect and there's no reason it should be add on only. I hope the next items they rework are keys and maps.
