Got bodyblocked the whole game by the killer.
Just starting this thread to shut out this guy deciding to spend his whole game to let me depip randomly, 15 secs after the game started he came right where i was doing a gen and stood there the whole game without giving me the chance to do anything at all. It's just sick that players are allowed to do smth like this.

As a caveat, the developers don't count this as taking the game hostage, as there is an end to the match providing your team mates do gens, however, if the player does this repeatedly, the developers may eventually do something

Happened to me once, was on haddonfield doing a gen and looked around for a second and the wraith bodyblocked me into a corner. Once all gens were done he one hit downed me with NOED and facecamped me.
I've stopped caring about all the toxicity whether I'm playing Killer or Survivor. Just move on and have as much fun as you can.

If you kept doing gen I know for a fact you didn’t depip. You got iredecent chaser, bronze altruism thing, silver escape and would have had silver gen repair getting a safety pip. By looking at the picture and knowing the location, you didn’t look blocked from doing so and on the other side of things killer actually depiped.

By looking at the picture I know you were able to do the gen and on the other side of things the killer is the one that depipped.

Not getting notifs about replies now either. Main point was he lied most likely for more sympathy and it does punish the killer a bit to have someone just black pip. It wastes both people’s time, killer a bit more. To say killer doesn’t care isn’t entirely true, once he deranks a bit he needs to get back what he’s lost and his aim could be higher rank swf groups. Depipping a survivor from trolling just really isn’t possible unless you’re leather face. Or have no swf.

I don't think you understand, IF someone chooses to play this way they ABSOLUTELY do not care about how many points or what rank they end up at from doing this, or the time wasted as it was THEIR choice to do this, it is not a punishment to derank in this game, as rank is irrelevant, it means nothing, even the devs have said it doesn't show skill

But since skill matchmaking isn’t fully out it goes off of rank mostly still. Like i Said it depends on his target range still. If he really didn’t care, After a while he will just end up so low a rank no one will find him and noobs just get a free escape leaving one to black pip or even pip at such a low rank with no benefit for the killer but wasted time.... If anything they should thank him.

Again, if a killer is intentionally playing like this, they don't care, they are doing it to waste others time, he can AFK and watch a show until match end, the killer doesn't care.
I honestly don't get why you're trying to defend the person playing like this, you seem to know the person got more than what is stated, are you the killer?

no I just see it both ways, you’re complaining for the op and anyone affected, but in reality it’s not even a bad thing when you’re rewarded either way and killer isn’t. You’re stuck in a mindset that he doesn’t care but yet he cares to troll in the first place. If he wants any little salt he needs red rank and you just refuse to accept it’s a inconvenience more for him after a few games. He’s doing something so stupid that he’s practically trolling himself.

how is queueing up for 10+ minutes as a survivor to have a killer body block you in a corner for 10 minutes a "reward"? The killer WANTED to do this, he probably put a show on, watched youtube knowing for a fact the survivor can't do anything about it, knowing he's going to derank, and knowing his going to get 5K points. I don't see how you can swing this to be remotely positive for the survivor when a killer doing this, by their choice means they know all the "consequences" and has decided to do it anyway. Especially as killer queues are instant, and currently killers are getting ranks from from 1 - 15 regardless of their rank, so his rank, especially now, doesn't matter at all.

You’re bias now. You take no account of other people’s regions or matchmaking queue times. For me it’s the opposite. The reward for survivor is the pip depending on the rank, at least a black pip. You say the survivor will depip ignoring everything I say. If he does this gens should be done in 3 minutes or so, at most 9 if you want an extra medal. He can also join the killer in watching YouTube. 3 other survivors will have a farm fest too. I’m trying to have a productive conversation.
It’s just not impactful and I wouldn’t mind being corner trapped by a deranking killer. I personally find it a little funny that he would manage to get me in a corner in the first place.
Also at red rank I only notice other red rank survivors still unless it’s swf. So it’s just different experiences buddy.

What bias? Because I don't think blocking someone in a corner is fair I'm biased? I never even mentioned pips for the survivor because they're irrelevant, survivor don't queue up to be trapped for 10 minutes to die to the entity, somehow you think that's negated by the fact he might black pip and earn 3K points for his 20 minutes wait + gametime, lmao.

You mentioned pips by saying he’s going to derank, which means he doesn’t have enough pips. Please don’t rush comments too much.
just said it’s not very bad, considering mories do a better job and their apart of the game. Just saying it’s a lose lose situation but should in the end be worse for killer wasting more time in the end, with survivor mainly missing a average amount of 15k bp if at high rank.
just to be clear it is unfair, but not overly broken compared to other things. If a killer did this every game it would be a problem to most. but that’s not possible and a rare one off. To me you’re blowing it out of proportion. Some are happy like myself to sit there and just get a free pip and help my team by keeping him there. As I have enough bp as well. So even one off chances can effect people who want it making it a even less overall % of a problem.
The complaint about it is an opinion tbh. If people exist who don’t care like myself.

Yes but the killer held the game hostage for that 1 person, so it's still bannable. It's not physically possible for the killer to hold the game hostage for ALL the survivors, they would all have to be trapped on the basement stairs or something... Or hacking to be involved.
In my opinion, what the OP said it's absolutely bannable as it stops that 1 person playing - definition of holding the game hostage.

What do you mean only considering my experiences? I haven't recalled any of my experiences with body blocking at all, and region is irrelevant, as almost everyone, in every region is affected by the lobby bug where you're being queued up for 10 minutes as survivor and 20 seconds as killer, and neither your experience or mine matters as this is someone else being affected.

I'd rather be moried and move onto my next 10 minute queue than have to wait out 10 minutes, then to queue for 10 minutes, they don't do a better job at what this killer is trying to accomplish at all, which is waste survivors time.
If I was wraith i could 100% force this situation every match, it's just a standard gen gen spot, you can put speed addons, move right in and stand there and theres nothing the survivor can do, this isn't a "one off" especially if this person is intentionally playing wraith to do it, but who knows, why randomly choose to block someone for the entire match, seems very intentional to me.

Ah yes, I too love waiting in 10-15 minute queues just to be body blocked the whole game and rendered entirely useless. Then, I'm lucky enough to leave the game with 1000 points! Sure is rewarding.

The only reason you're dropping it is because you have no actual point to what you're saying. You're calling somebody biased simply because they believe that it isn't rewarding to literally not be able to do anything in the damn game. I don't even know why you mentioned anything about bias in such a conversation.
