I am less annoyed when I play killer than when I'm a survivor

And I'm same rank both. 8-10 most of the time. I don't like playing killer tho, not because of the survivors because they can't hurt me in any way, it just doesn't suit my character. But survivors on my team is a different story. They won't do gens, they won't unhook you, they will hide even when the killer is far away camping.
They blow gens, they dc, they do everything wrong. I am not perfect but at least I know that I can't waste time doing nothing. My God. It is annoying to the point I want to stop playing this game all together or team up with others. I wouldn't use mic tho or communicate to make everything easier. I just want normal people on my team is that too much too ask?

What about others. Those who play both. What are your experiences? Which is more frustrating for you?

Everything you just said is pretty much most of my survivor games, when I play killer I'm like where are YOU when I play survivor

More frustrating are definitely survivor games for me. I'm at rank 6 and it seems there's still noone who knows how to play against hag, when Ruin is on I'm the only one working on gens, with Huntress Lullaby two tokens are enough and folks miss virtually every skill checks. Chases last only seconds, etc. I'm sometimes the best killer time waster in the match even though I'm far from good at chases. Killers 4k all the time, maybe every couple of games I get the hatch despite my teammates, and when I load this forum or Reddit then all I read is "totally imbalanced, survivors OP, nerf into the ground".

As killer I have no ambitions, I just want to have fun chasing and hooking people. I know I'm not the most talented player, nor will I ever be, so I think it's normal that some groups will crush me ever now and then, simply because there are better players than me out there.

As survivor it's really hard to accept a loss when the killer wasn't really that good and it's not me who screwed up but others who DC/don't do gens/don't make hook saves or attempt them while being chased by the killer/go down in seconds one after the other, all that.

Survivors cant hurt the killer? Uhm ok.... maybe you need to climb a bit higher and you will change your mind

There is a general rule for DBD:
The higher you climb the easier it is to play survivor because your mates dont suck so hard anymore.
At the same time the higher you climb as killer, the harder and frustrating your matches become because the survivors will do less mistakes. As killer you depend on survivors mistakes to do plays unless you are nurse.

Just started playing survivor recently. Killer is definitely more irritating for me. As a killer, you have to be on the ball and pressuring the map at all times otherwise you'll lose. One mistake can cost you the entire game and you're punished for every mistake you make. Then, there's the endless pallet factor. Every round you have to burn through tons of pallets smashing over your face just to do it all over again next round. Then, there's the RNG factor like your hex being destroyed in 5 seconds or having a killer that sucks on a certain map.

I'll admit after playing killer for so long, it's nice to be on the opposite side for a change. Plus, I can't say I've had too many jump scares lately and Michael scared the poop out of me earlier. The creeper literally came out of thin air once and the other time I just happened to turn my screen and saw him stalking me. For the most part, it's much more relaxed for me. There's been rounds where I've done 2-3 gens and didn't even see the killer haha.

One thing I like about the killer is if I made a mistake it's mine. When I'm survivor and teammates are idiots good luck not depiping (impossible).

I gave up on getting annoyed by giving up on seriousness.
Videogames are all about fun to me and this game made me forget that for a while.
I'll try to do my best, but only if that's fun.

There is nothing wrong about being a casual player but please don't interfere when other playes want to play competitively
