you can only loop a killer and dodge them so much eventually youre gonna get downed so dont even start with comments like you shouldnt have gotten caught or git gud, because i am good! Ive gotten 4ks on killers i dont even use at red ranks with 1 perk, people just suck with killer and no one on dbd wants to play with people who are jerks.

That's the vicious cycle. Gens get done faster, insecure killer tries to secure kills, survivor becomes better survivor by looping better and using anti-tunnel perks, killer resorts to shadier tactics, etc.

yeah he tried to "Commend" me for not using decisive but he said that it wouldnt have mattered he still would have went for me like?

I can tell you that killer probably got jack for points or didn't even get a safety. When gens are popping left and right it's better to try to damage multiple people. Hope they stop rushing gens to heal. If one person is being chased and face camped to death, you can bet the healthy survivors are repairing.
I blame match making and the devs. By removing ruin a lot of green survivors are in the red ranks. That killer probably ranked up playing against them. When he's up against real red survivors he doesn't know what to do and resorts to tunneling/face camping.

Depends on your mindset. If you go into a game fair minded then get steamrolled, your mercy disappears.
Then there's your personal goals. I one time moried someone who DSd me because I needed the 4k challenge or whatever. Dick move but that's the way the match goes.
Unless they add scoring events for letting people free, it'll always come down to your primary goal like survivors and gens.
