For some reason I think that the devs will add a new objective for survivors either during the 3rd chapter or 4th chapter.
We already know that Freddy rework is coming in 6weeks after the release of this chapter. As well as the nerf for ds.
It it will be perfect timing in order to make the game be more fun. Otherwise it tends to get boring doing gens and cleansing totems.
The new killer already added a new perspective to the game. Should I cleanse totem or don’t? Imagine a billy using that hex and spiriting towards you once he get the notification. You are either going down by his chainsaw or his weapon. You snooze you lose lol1 -

NO.
People need to stop suggesting more objectives. They wouldn't fix the game as you think, it would just make high tier games a LITTLE BIT slower while completely ruining the game for any survivor that doesn't play optimally.
What we need is just a limiter on how fast gens can get done. That's it. Not increasing time either, just block multiple gens from being done within X time of each other. Then you won't see 3 gens pop in the first chase, just 1 and the others would be locked from completion for a short time, which adds time for killer. The problem isn't that gens are done too fast or that survivors rush gens, the problem is that you can do 3 gens at once and totally screw the killer.

Finding parts would be nice, but we have the "walking on the rope" problem, tipping the average game time even slightly in either way could cause disaster balance-wise. We need to increase the minimal game time without affecting usual game length.
