Will the Ghost Face get lore in the archives?
Yes he is technically a "Licensed killer" but if i remember correctly he isnt any of the Ghost faces from the movies which means there is room for making up new lore for him.

I think they are trying to stay away from challenges that require licensed killers. Yes he is partially created by BHVR but you can't buy him with shards. They don't own the rights to the costume and the mask so they have to charge real money for him. They already got complaints with this archive which requires the doctor and spirit. They can be purchased with shards but they don't come with the game. Not everyone has them. People who don't have them feel if they want to advance the archive they had to fork over more money. If GF has stuff in the archive people will have to pay extra.

Still licensed, though. The character has to be buyable with shards in order to be in the Rift, so unfortunately, as it stands— Highly, highly unlikely.
