Any upcoming changes to the deathslinger?

He seems to be pretty fun but when it comes to power i doubt he will perform well with his current state, huntress outclasses him by far since she can properly punish survivors who vault or drop a pallet, but for some reason they decided to give him the "legion style" of balance where he can't down you but he applies deep wound unless you reel them in until you m1 them, and his speed is too low for minimum map pressure, he can't do sick bbq&chili shots like huntress does. so do you think he's actually fine in his state or not?

Yes, console aim is indeed terrible. That's why it has nothing but adventure puzzlers and tap rhythm games.

Strange decision on BHVRs part to release not only a first person killer, but one that has to aim too. I'll not only have to coordinate between an x and y axis, but a dreaded z axis as well. I hope the hitscan will be able to register a wide circle shaped hitbox.

And without an objective marker leading me directly to survivors, how am I supposed to ever find anyone? I guess I'll just buy more loot boxes till I unlock the adept killer trophy. Guess I'll have to skip living in a house this week to afford it.

I don't think aiming will be too tough on console. The fact that he is 110 movement speed with a crap power though will keep me from playing him.

I think he needs some buffs. Once the shine wears off, people will realize he's a slightly worse, less efficient Huntress. Which is a shame, because he doesn't have to be. He's a blast to play, no doubt, but he can be good too. Fun and good don't have to be mutually exclusive.

I fear he'll be like Oni. Practically unplayable meaning I'll end up not even playing him.

Huntresses aiming is so bad I have to rely on movement rather than aiming to hit shots to the right or left.

I think he needs some form of buff- various streamers have suggested plenty of good changes.

I think for him to be playable in his current state one needs to make use of the fact that he can instadown exposed survivors with his power. This is one of the only advantages he has over huntress. So make your choice, noed, etc.

From what Ive seen' he's in a pretty decent spot. Being able to ADS and shoot immediately gives him a nice edge over Huntress, allowing him to get in shots that a Huntress wouldnt be able to. I still wouldnt mind a buff here and there to make him more fluent, but I wouldnt say hes bad as is.

He really needs something for console players. A slight aim assist, anything. He also needs a way to punish survivors at pallets. Pallets are incredibly safe against him unless you're running Prison Chain and Bayshore's Gold Tooth. A way to pull over pallets, being able to break the chain himself and get the damage state and Deep Wound with no stun, he needs something.
