DS should not active from a self unhook

It's seriously so stupid! If they luck off the hook or use Deliverance DS should not activate. DS is overpowered in general, but let's save that for another day. Especially in situations where you hook someone right next to an open exit gate, it's just a skilless crawl out the exit and if you pick them up and they get off anyway. That's not anti-tunnel. That's a free escape. Fix your game!

*DS should not activate at all. It should be a dead perk.

Almost every killer tunnels above all else. It's literally game after game after game. Killrs leave chase of an injured survivor to go back to the hook and tunnel. Why should a survivor be punished for crap teammates? Can't tell you how many times I've died on my first hook with teammates not even trying to save me. The amount of times someone uses Deliverance and DS are rare. I'm sure it's frustrating that tunnel didn't pay off, but it's still incredibly rare.

how is it overpowered? you can only use it once and it doesn't stop the killer from tunneling you. you also have to make sure you hit the skill check.

if you get yourself off the hook and the killer comes after you straight away then you should have every right to be able to use it.

would you prefer that the survivor just kill themselves on first hook? do you want an easy kill/down if they get themselves off because that's what it sounds like. survivor gets themselves off hook, killer goes straight back to hook to down them but survivor can't us DS because they got themselves off and bam they are straight back on hook again.

DS is there to counter tunneling, if you don't want people using it then don't tunnel. what difference does it make if you got yourself off hook or not. in theory, you should get off at some point anyway so it shouldn't matter either way.
