Sometimes you get no great value from it because there's no chests left for you to search anymore. I suggest that everytime you start searching a chest, its aura and the plunderer's are shown to other survivors so that the perk has a teamwork aspect to it by letting them know you have it for better items and where chests are.

I understand that the recent tweak to highlight items on the ground tries to make up for that inconvenience, but I believe that what I said would make it more fun. Right now I just let people know on chat I have it.

    No need if they let survivors see each others perks in the lobby.

    I had a situation when 4 solo survivors were using Plunderers

    A situation that hardly happens isnt a strong argument, even 2 plunderers are much more likely to be in the lobby because of archive challenges If this happens all right, I dont expect perfection or no downsides to deal with. Letting them know in the lobby is tedious and briefly revealing the aura while searching is a good information on demand to give of where you(to heal or whatever) and a good item might be.
