Is this an exploit on Coldwind Farm?
PS4 Torment Creek Map (Myers): This Jake was vaulting in the tractor when I hit him & put him in the dying state and he crawled and hugged the side while crawling so he could land on the bail of hay on the side.
I tried to vault and then walk and hug the side to land on it, but it would not work. Is it me or has anyone been able to land on this hay platform as a killer?
Tapp came to help and he was able to land on it & get him to injured state, but I still couldn’t land on it. Tapp ran and I ran after him and downed him then came back to tractor. Jake stayed up there I guess to taunt me (teabag) & because he had Adrenaline. So the exit gates went off and his Adrenaline kicked in so of course now of course he got off the tractor. I got one hit in but he escaped. Needless to say, he and another teammate teabagged me like crazy at the gate even though I never camped or tunneled. I’m a solo survivor main and I don’t have that kind of toxic behavior. Survivors like that ruin it for the rest of us because that’s the kind of behavior that causes some killers to camp or tunnel.
Is this not an exploit and other killers have been able to land on it?

I'm pretty sure that is not an exploit. If the survivors can get somewhere you can too. There is a very thin line you can walk across.

I tried but I could not get him to land on it. I’ll have to practice when I’m on that map again as killer.

You do know you can walk there from the side?
Devs added that part so it would make it easier for killers to do that Tractor tech.

No I guess I didn’t. You mean when you walk up the tractor ramp you have to walk off that side? Now I feel stupid. I rarely play killer. I just play them for rituals.

you can swing onto that spot from the ramp you use to originally get on top of the tractor so not really.

I don't really see the problem. You can easily just walk along the rail to get on the hay as killer.
As for the toxicity always remember: If someone acts like a child in an online game chances are the player is an actual child.

I have no idea why that didn’t occur me. Forgive my ignorance.

NP I actually only learn how to do this about two months ago even tho I have been playing this game for over two years. Survivors don't often go onto the tractors unless they have sprint burst, lithe or there is no pallets nearby so I never really cared to learn how to do it.

Actually there is nothing to learn anymore. The devs added the rail next to the ramp with one of the latest patches so killers don't have to learn how to swing onto the hay anymore. You can now just run onto the hay via the rail on top of the ramp which makes the tractor a free hit at all times. Kinda skill free but meh... DBD devs don't care about skillful plays anyways.

And now that I know this I feel stupid for still attempting to lunge onto there the past few games I got on farm maps...

If the survivor is near enough to you, you can also hit them from the position were you standing on this screenshot.
That happens rarely if just 1 is on that position, but sometimes there are 2 or more and then you can often hit them from there.
If they are to far away for a hit like the Jake on your screenshot, you need to walk all the way up and then move on the rail as already said before.

Wow I didn’t even see said ramp. Sigh.

Just FYI fat killers such as clown and oni seem to bounce off the side of the tractor, so you wont always be able to get there on your first try with them. :)

I'm fairly sure many killers are still swinging onto the hay. It's become a bad habit at this point haha. I've watched Puppers play Hillbilly the other day and he managed to even curve around the hay and land on the vault location with the chainsaw. I wonder if the devs thought about this when they added the rail. 🤔

I use this spot and very often confuse the killers who don't know they can just walk there as well.
