What would you like to change in Haddonfield?

Haddonfield is one of my favorite maps, but is desperately needing a rework since it’s a nightmare for killers. With the last design and balance changes we got in mind, what would you do to the map?

I’m not really good at the balance part so I’ll just talk about what I would like to see as a design aspect. I would like more unique houses, the only one accurate it’s myers, wish we had Laurie’s.

    Remove, or break up the super long fences. Rework second floor balconies. Fix window placements along stairs.

    1.)Map become smaller, make it only have 5 house.

    2.) two house should have the balconies only and each floor should only have 2 window.

    3.)Rework God loop -> super long fence with window facing to a long safe loop and another window open at the opposite with super long fence and window open toward inside house. When I play survivor I didn't even need to drop the pallet if I didn't make mistake, all I do is jump from long fence window to long fence window and run inside house and jump out from the house window ( repeat the process till killer get bloodlust 3 or give up on me )

    Every window on a second floor should have a doorway near-ish to them. Every second floor window at the end of a hallway should be replaced with a pallet that makes the survivor fall when they drop/vault it. Staircases that lead directly up to (some) balconies. Mind game-able loops between houses (with gaps for huntress hatchets). Fewer and shorter fences. More interesting paths around houses that aren't straight lines. Either close the long wall window or remove a pallet from the house with the two staircases that lead to the cellar.

    That's just a start.

    like most of the people already said, I'd remove the fences (or at least not making their spawn RNG based), fix the house of pain (or remove it entirely) and block a window in Laurie's house (also permenentely blocking the god window near the basement).

    the benches loops can stay, despite being very long and strong.

    • Fix fence spawns
    • Increase pallet spawns, maybe add some pallets in the other 2 floor houses
    • Hide totems better
    • Reduce the loops with the 2 benches and make them mindgamable
    • Reduce overall loop sizes but add more pallets to compensate that, kinda the same what they did with badham
    • Delete all those houses where you cant go inside, the map is a little town yes but in terms of gameplay it just sucks to have to many visual blocks as Killer
    • Increase map size abit, its way too small
    • More generators outside instead indoor
    • Nerf myers house, god window downstairs and both balcony windows + the drop down window
    • Add the shack again to haddonfield
    • Nerf house of pain (The house with the basement where the 2 stairs are with the pallet and gen down there)

    These would be my suggestions.

    It needs a complete make over lol everything is bad, when I play survivor and find them really long arse fences with no entry spots😂 I'm like what the hell is this,

    Make the street darker and add more detail to the houses! Give the different tiles personality.

    Just an overhaul like the clinic

    My bad. I get haddonfield mixed up with coldwind farm cause I see "field" in the title.

    As trapper I actually like haddiesfield. Mainly the windows that lead to the rooftops. Some of them it's impossible to disarm a trap without vaulting and stepping into it.

    Lol coldwind are for the corn. Ah yeah the killer basement house is the best for that, but with survivors luck, they tend to get out before you can smack them through the window 😂 but when the set up works, then it really works.

    I would like to see the one loop gone were a car stays for a garage and something for it. I believe it was a trashcan. A pallet is also on the other side of the car. It is for me the most annoying loop in the whole game :).

    By every other loop you know that you either will get the surv, or that you can give up and move to a other part of the map. But this loop has far too often trick me that I can get there a surv, while it was too time wasting for me.

    Also the stairs in the basement should be fixed.

    You can't hit there a survivor, even if he is in range, as long as you stay on the stairs while the survivor is running away towards the pallet behind the stairs, or the lockers in the room behind it.

    Make is so the first 4-+ minutes gens reparing is much slower so the killer have time to play actually early game. Something like a map debuff that can be used for other super big maps for example. I just don't want to see the map changed because it is a really cool map when playing both sides. But for me there are other maps that really need to be changed first. Like Hawkins that is the shitiest map ever, followed by Shelter woods, Disturbed ward, Azarovs
