Survivors, stop rewarding campers please!

First, I get it that camping is no fun. I mean the optimal scenario involves one person hanging on the hook for two minutes while the other three crank gens and leave. Maybe come back last minute with BT.

But so many people hover around the hook, doing nothing productive, and then don’t even try to save anyways. So we’re complaining about campers but encouraging them to continue by turning a 1 kill into a 2-3 kill.

I run kindred and so many times I see one or both teammates crouching nearby the hook, hoping that maybe after 30 seconds Bubba will leave. Surprise if he’s camping for 30 seconds he’s camping for two minutes. At least make the one sacrifice worth it

We should probably put something in the loading screen.

"Survivor tip. If the killer isn't leaving someone on the hook, finish the generators and get out"

Right! Also just to make it clear, there are situations where camping may be correct most notably once gates open.

And killers who choose to camp that is up to them if they want, but again let’s not complain or whine about it just PUNISH it by leaving

If everyone ran Kindred, it would help, but there are always going to be those survivors that wait nearby doing nothing or that go for the unhook right in front of the killer. Kindred on every survivor should definitely be mandatory though.

Yep, I can definitely state Kindred base wouldn’t help lol... when I get hooked with kindred and camped I still see only one working a gen while the others hover around. I’m struggling for two minutes guys please make my hand cramping mean something!!!

You're absolutely right. I really don't get why this is so hard for most survivors to understand. I say it all the time though. IF, and that's a big if, even 50% of survivor would learn to play using anything resembling an intelligent strategy BHVR would have to make radical changes to this game to make it even close to balanced. I say that as a survivor main too.

I tend to run kindred when I solo for this reason but it doesnt help all the time. I had a match on autohaven. The one where the shack is in the middle of the map. It was bubba with IG and agitation. I lead him on a good chase but he eventually downed me and put me in the basement. I had kindred. He did not have insidious. He stood in front of me with the chainsaw revved until I died. I stayed on the hook for as long as possible. 2 people sat at the top of the steps for the whole duration. Only one of them was doing gens. I yelled at them in the end game chat. Bubba ended up getting a 4k when he didn't even deserve 1. I'm a killer main and killers like that piss me off. They shouldn't rank up but the game shouldn't punish them for camping. There already is a solution to this problem and it;s up to the survivors to know how to do it.

Yeah, solo is all I play so personally I've got to have it. It's always frustrating seeing those potatoes just sitting there though.

Noooo dont tell the new survivors that! how will all the basement bubbas get their kills???

I dont think kindred works on insidious. Also bubba could always hook them in the basement, leave, run territorial imperative to know when to come back.

Yep, I’m not even talking being GOOD at the game. Just playing intelligently and using basic strategy and common sense would result in 3-4 escapes every game. But you get these survivors who hide in a locker or crouch behind bushes whenever they hear the faintest heartbeat. Three minute chase against the killer and zero gens get done, then we still get owned by NOED at the end so they weren’t doing totems either... like #########

100% agree. That's why I very rarely agree with any post on this forum where survivors are asking for killer nerfs. Nerfing killers because survivors play stupid shouldn't happen.

Bubba is guilty until proven innocent. In other words, assume he 's camping until he proves otherwise.
