Killer Chests
1 Chest per game regularly, with a random add on inside.
A Perk that increases the add ons rarity for the killer.
Small chance to hold a mori inside like keys are a thing in chests too.

It would be nice if we had some way of farming add ons in game like the survivors. Though this would benefit killers so we all know it;s not going to happen.

I'm not quite sure how that would work. If it automatically equips it, you'd end up with three add-ons, and the game doesn't support that. If it only rewarded it to you after the game, it might be a bit detrimental to the killer to stop and search it for no benefit in that match.

I like the idea, but you know there could never be a mori, survivors would revolt :)

I would assume you just can't recieve an add-on if you already have 2. Or you choose which add-on to give up by pressing "Q" or "E" - "1" or "2".
However this could greatly benefit Killer's who don't run add-on's, or end up getting cucked in the offering screen. Like Survivors can make huge comebacks from chests in the game (Example Key's - please remove the ability to get Skeleton Key's and Dull Key's from chests). Could you imagine how game chaning it would be if you went into a match where 3 or more survivors used petrified logs, and then you found a green/pink add-on in the killer chest?
Or simply the Survivors are easily countering an add-on you already have, so you go to killer chest switch out an add-on and then boom you catch them by surprise.
I am rather impressed by this idea, not gonna lie. It would deffiently make the gap between balance for survivors and Killer slightly smaller.

Anything that helps killers the Dev's won't do. If it benefitted survivors I bet they'd add that. Survivors already have chests tho and can bring items too.

So what about add on boosters?
- you could get a second add on if you have only one equipped
- you can get them for next match if you have 2 equipped and still found the time to search a chest
- Some add ons are just stronger variants of others (wraith windstorm for example), if you have lets say a yellow windstorm equipped and another one it could give you a better one for example green.
- one use mini perks (next time you down a survivor everybody in 32m radius screams, next 3 pallets you kick are destroyed 20% faster) etc.
Its just an idea, i kinda like the idea to have a killer chest, as survivor its alsways intense if you get what you wanted, killers should have this too^^

Maybe a "item" you can "find" in the Match, and it doesnt "activates instantly" if not its just "hold" in a Imaginary Inventory and "rewarded" when the Match ends....

well i think searching for the chest would be a bad idea, but if you can find it ( maybe its like really well hidden) you can use 5 seconds to get a reward.
there are times when survivors dont have much time too because a killer is about to snowball, so searching a chest at this situation isnt a good idea too.

If you have an addon slot free you can chose to equip it or store it
if you already have addons you can chose to swap it (losing the actual addon?) or again, store it

Technically, you could search it if only 2 Survivors are left. When you don't have to put pressure on them anymore, or if the last Survivors are on the hook, while they struggle you could search for it and get it after the match.

Agreed. The Entity, since the killers are acting as its avatar in the fog, should reward killers with items based on performance. It shouldn't even be a question, if you even get a safety, you should be rewarded. At least that'll kinda offset survivors being able to get an item and two add-ons for free every match, and then getting to keep the items whenever they escape with the next patch.

Also, with I think the biggest problem for a lot killers being time management, I'm not sure it would be worth spending the time searching a chesst as a killer. I'm pretty certain I wouldn't want to waste that time when I could be pressurising the map instead.

A reward that makes the killer's add-on stay after the match; in effect a white ward.

I can see this causing more problems because once the killer gets enough survivors killed, they can afford to waste time and add more insult to injury and get a third add-on (when it's completely unnecessary, they already won). 😁
