Survivors, what moment has scared you the most?
I'd usually say the Hag traps out of no where, or looking over and seeing Myers, but this one sticks out to me.
Was going against a doctor, and I was the last person left. I had an instinct to jump in a locker, and literally one second later he popped his static blast. It scared the hell out of me, since If I were any later, I would have died lol

Playing survivor in levels with colourschemes like Yamaoka's Estate, I'm colourblind and can't see anything, so stealth killers jumpscare the sh!t out of me every time. I'm never ready.

Hah - I remember my first game against a hag. I'm running around like a panicked animal the whole time tripping off every trap on the map. Wasn't scary, more like funny and there was a lot of corn.
When spirit first came out she would just pop out of no where, coupled with her creepy animation and movement, she was scary at the time - now it's just like 'b--ch get outta my way.'

Honestly aside from unexpected hag traps, as survivor, its other survivors that scare me most. Sometimes you don't know anyone else is around and you ratate your camera and Quentin is staring at you. Or turn a corner and see a bunch of dancing dwights.....there are some scary people in this world!

I was repairing a gen and moving my screen left to right to see when the killer is coming, everything was clear and quiet until.. I saw Ghostface leaning from a wall to my left and I jumped screaming, my friend was spectating me so he also got scared and screamed 😂. I’ll never forget that it was hilarious.

Well, Mathieu said that they are looking into colour blind settings. It's just hard to do it so other players don't take advantage of it by seeing things easier.

omg - this brings back a suppressed memory. I know this thread is for survivors pov, but the moment that scared me the most ever was opening a locker for hatchets as the huntress... and finding a Quentin inside. You think he looks bad normally - you should see him close up with bulging eyes. Then I'm grabbing him out of the locker and screaming 'NOOO don't do it.' I wanted to just put him back and shut the door, but it was too late.

Yeah I read a discussion about the potential to abuse that setting. I'd rather it not be there than have people abuse it, but it's still cool to be considered! As survivor it's nbd, but as killer, it's a bummer to know I'm gonna look like a sweaty fool 'cause I won't DC. :')

First time playing dbd was late at night and first game was against hag lol obviously every knows their first hag moments but that jump scare got me fn good lol

I was in a 4 man swf. The killer was wraith. Coldwind Farm. 1 of us died early. Gens are done and 1 of us is being chased. I'm on one gate and my friend is on the other gate across the map. The person being chased gets hit and there's noed. I 99% my gate incase of BW. My friend on the other gate forgot to let go of the button and opened his gate by accident. The guy who opened his gate leaves cause the survivor about to be hook is on their death hook. As I open my gate, before I get to the exit, the wraith hooks the survivor and he did have Blood Warden. Our friend had kindred so I can see the wraith is cloaking, is heading my way and I know he has noed. I'm freaking out. I run out of the gate and look for the nearest jungle gym when I hear the faint sound of the hatch. By sheer luck it was right next to the gate and I managed to get out before the killer got to me.
When BW popped up and that wraith with noed came running towards me I thought I was screwed. No way I could have looped him for a whole minute and got out without getting hit. I even said in the end game chat I was running to find a place to hide when i stumbled upon the hatch.
One match on clowns map. The killer was billy. We just finished a gen and I turned the corner of a jungle gym only to eat a chainsaw to the face. He had tinkerer and a muffler add on so he had no heartbeat and I couldn't hear his chainsaw.

First time going against Demo and his shred. I screamed so hard.
Wasn't paying attention and Ms. Piggy came out of nowhere and made me squeal. Everyone came to check on me in the house.
Peekaboo Myers. Nothing more to say... I still get jumpscared by him.

Going against the Hag for the first time. I dropped my controller and screamed like a little girl the first time.

Random unexpected hag traps always get me . I've been playing this game for 2 years and she still scares the living poop outta me !
