Bubba is too good
At facecamping.
Seriously BHVR, please just give kindred basekit, and let kindred trump undetectable so that if a bubba face camps they dont get an easy 3k.
All survivors start separated and all instantly start repairing, then bubba takes 40s to down one of them. He then facecamps with insidious. One of two things will happen:
1) The survivor on hook suicides. Bubba then finds another person and facecamps them. Then they suicide and then repeat till bubba has a 4K.
2) The hooked survivor doesnt suicide. But then one or more teammates gets off a gen to try and save. Assuming only 1 survivor gets off, the bubba then downs the second survivor and continues to facecamp. Probably 2 gens are done at this point.
A third and/or fourth survivor stops working on gens to get the downed/hooked survivors. They get killed by bubba. 4th survivor is like. oh, time to look for hatch.

In all seriousness, we really should just get kindred basekit. Facecamping isnt fun for anyone.
Also rename bubba from "The Cannibal" to "The Camper"

Funny you mention this. I literally just survived a Bubba basement build. He had agitation, iron grasp, insidious...the whole kit. I managed to wriggle free by the skin of my teeth just as we got to the end of the basement stairs.
But he camped two Blendettes to death so I don't hold it against him 😅

4k? I hear this alot from players who only play survivor, I'm sure killers can depip getting a 4k with just one hook each.
If you are a survivor and a Bubba is camping, just do gens.
I've noticed many survivors are after bp for unhooking survivors so also camp instead of doing gens...
I happily tap away with a face camping Bubba if I see everyone doing gens, sure it sucks but then it sucks for the killer.

Kindred basekit would be too strong. You will always know where the killer is going after hooking a survivor. That's an unfair nerf to stealth killers.

What if we made seeing the killer part require the Kindred perk? I doubt that Kindred would be worth the perk slot anymore so it would have to do something else as well I think.

If kindred were removed and added as base kit if a killer has multiple survivors hooked, you’d be able to see where he is but more importantly you see where he is not. Which is kinda busted.

Getting facecamped by Bubba is a honor. What annoys me is survivors that croutch near hook doing nothing.

The devs won't change his defensive game. What will definitely change is his chase (because it's garbage). Your rework will make Bubba even worse by making him more prone to gen rushing, No one ######### wants that.

So they should nerf ALL killers because one of them is good at camping and bad at chasing instead of reworking that one killer to be better at chasing and therefore have less incentive to camp?

Kindred is a great perk (for solos), it is already totally worth bringing. Making it basekit would be a HUGE buff to survivors, and i don't think it is needed at this time. I personally don't see that many people running insidious, but like everyone has already said, just do gens! And if you are on the hook, suck it up and struggle the entire time to punish him.

Agreed, we should also remove SWF from the game and make that basekit; because nobody likes SWF.

...Well... Not really, but go on. I am not a survivor main and so I don't have to struggle with any kind of lobby times that going worse and worse and... yes... worse... Some survivors must really enjoy their time in the lobby <- My personal theory.

Alot of talk here about how Bubba camps well but oni, Billy, huntress, nurse, legion camp just as well. This isn't a Bubba problem at all.

Then they would maybe have to be buffed in other ways. Fact is, swf survivors already have this information, and the only way to properly balance this game is to reduce the balance gap between solo and swf survivors.

Just because you don't like a play style doesn't mean that the killer needs a nerf. Look at how Bubba plays outside of the camper use case and tell me that he's too strong with a straight face.

never said he was strong. Hes pretty bad. Hes only good as facecamping. Outside of face camping he is trash. He needs a full rework, so that he is good in chase but bad at facecamping. Also not everyone is a 4man SWF.

As a Jake main, I say let Bubba keep his facecamping power. Right now he is the only killer that can beat a Borrowed Time save. If the killer wants to waste time camping then by all means I say we let them.

thats fine and all... but most people will just suicide on hook, so the killer can just camp the next person. Or if you arent in a 4-man SWF, someone will be an idiot and try to save the face camped survivor and die. Then you cant do 5 gens b4 the bubba face camps all of you. (unless you are an insanely optimal 3-4 man SWF. and no one suicides)

Yeah M1 is dbd term for basic attack since the community originates from PC, even console players say m1 bc its easier then saying R2, or RB when everyone can just say M1, the more you know :) any other dbd terms you need help with dont be afraid to ask!

Kindred basekit is basically a dollar version of swf, yet it'd still throw the game off balance. Just make it to where Kindred overrides Insidious and then bad plays won't be rewarded. I mean yes Bubba practically needs to camp to secure kills against decent survivors but ffs, rewarding camping is like rewarding immersed survivors, it shouldn't be possible.

I understand how that can be frustrating to play against, but, it's sort of the killer's job to be an obstacle. And while some it is unfortunate that people hook suicide, that stuff just happens. I understand how that can be frustrating, but look at the roster! From vomit debuffs to Pigs tunneling the Reverse Beartrap Survivor literally any killer can be played in a way that is annoying to play against so why should Bubba be targeted in particular? I mean after all the fact that the community can discuss and meme this tendency to camp with Insidious implies we know that Bubba is likely camping. With the Plague for example, everyone says "just don't cleanse" to the point where the developers are giving her 1 corrupted fountain at the start of the game as basekit because she was denied an entire part of her power for roughly a year now.
I get it, you're tired of getting facecamped by Leatherface. I main Jake Park, do you know how few people main Jake? Whenever I see a Leatherface in my game I know that I'm getting tunneled by the Bubbas that want the "Survivor Face" cosmetic. We all have bad games and find certain killers annoying. However, that does not give us cause to ask to nerf strategies that are so well known that we meme them. All in all, Leatherface is a bad killer, his entire power is denied by just jumping through a window. Until Leatherface gets a proper full rework minor nerfs to him are simple unreasonable.
