should failing skill checks affect all the survivors repairing the same gen?

if there's more than 1 survivor repairing the same gen, but one of them fail a skill check, shouldn't it also affect the other survivor so it counts as 2 failed skill check? so the regression would be increased, and if 3-4 survivors are repairing the same gen, one fail a skill check it would count as 3-4 failled ones so the regression would be huge, repairing a gen with another survivors gives a lot of benifits in points and speed, but there should be a little risk into that, but don't worry, ruin won't affect other survivors if you fail a skill check.

what do you guys think about it?
it COULD help reducing gen rushing a tiny bit and would make perks like unnerving presence and lullaby more useful.

Well the survivor who makes the skill check fail should be the one who gets the punishment. You shouldn't punish players more if they didn't do anything wrong. As Doc said above, the killer will know where the survivors are.

So what, with your suggestion they'll still keep repairing since the killer is chasing someone. They'll also usually fail a skill check because a gen explosion usually brings one right after. The killer knows that there's 1 or more on that gen so he can decide if he's close enough to come over or keep chasing.

Right. And the killer needs to decide if its worth scattering them all off the gen or not. When I play killer, I usually scatter them all of the gen, give it a kick, and start hunting again.
