When is the deathslinger going live?
I havn't heard any information on when the update is coming to live servers.
Also, is he worth getting? He looks like a lot of funt o play and I had fun playing him in the few matches I was able get as killer in the PTB. But I also thought the same thing about the legion and ended up regretting getting his DLC.

3rd, he`s fun to play but wont be strong. he`ll be a kinda weak killer like a few of the others sadly. its a shame he has my favorite style (western) and the look of him is great but hes way too weak (at least against good survivors) sure ranks are a mess and you do get so many red ranks that should be green as they arent very good but the killer himself has too many draw backs compared to positives

Dont worry, we are still on PTB and changes can be made. I think the devs realize he needs some tweeks and will buff him

anytime a PTB is open, the DLC will go live 2 weeks later. Unless some horrible bug is found and it must be delayed, so for Deathslinger it's the 3rd.

I really wish the devs would say something about how the PTB has been going so far. The only thing I've heard through the grapevine is that Hangman's Trick apparently will not remain as it currently is in the PTB for the live release.

yeah true but the devs are always afraid of making a strong killer, personally i feel his reload needs to be faster by default or even make reloads faster for successful hits. whatever they do he needs something because i dont see him being worth playing at the higher ranks.
Pros:
- Can instant fire ranged attacks
- Even if the chain is broken you can get an injure
- he inflicts the mending effect
- he has a lower terror radius
Cons:
- has 1 shot before reloading
- forced to break so many pallets, regardless of aim you cannot hit people at certain loops
- slow speed means less map pressure
- long reload times my default
personally having a long reload after a hit or miss wastes alot of time, enough time for them to get to safe loops you cannot pull them round (huntress can down over them). sure hes good at catching at T & L walls but so is demo who has faster speed and ability to travel across map. i dunno he`s too weak compared to other killers, for a killer that takes more skill via aiming etc. and his lower speed i kinda expect a strong power to counteract the negatives such as nurse, spirit etc.
