How to Play Billy?

So, I see many people play billy just fine, get easy cross map snipes. When I play Billy, I have literally no control over him. He doesn't move where I want him to, and he catches on every object. Also sometimes when I rev the chainsaw as soon as the bar fills up, he turns a 90 degree angle without me even moving my mouse. How in the world does anyone play Billy.

Well, I'm on console, so i don't have the flick problem you have, but I play him as intended.

I use my goddam hammer! Unpopular opinion, but it IS your main weapon and the chainsaw is a tool. Most of my chainsaw downs are baiting pallets or accidental snipes.

He shouldnt curve if your mouse stay still. Im hillbilly with over 2 000 hours and i can tell you for starters to main only spiked boots + moonshine hillbilly as he is capable of ending a chase in split seconds plus only that Billy has insane mobility and he s unique and one of the most strongest killers just like Nurse , Sprit, Freddy. He cant be messed around like other kinds which is instant chainsaw , double engravings. Those are easy to play against if you main Billy and abusable as hell.

P.S . He s the most fun to play killer as of right now.

For me he is the least fun to play because I suck lol. How do you maneuver him better if you don't have those addons yet? Spiked boots should be easy enough to get, but it might be a while before I would have any moonshine

you can still run all the map in one go without those maneuver addons but there would be some hard places you wont be able to pass through without those addons and some loops where without those 2 addons you wont be able to hit survivors. Use Q and E or just mouse after starting your chainsaw to curve .

@FireHazard Thanks so much! I gotta get some levels on Billy and get some addons. The first time I ever played him in a custom game with my friends I was good with him. The first and few times I've played him in public games I'm lucky to get one kill. I don't remember what addons I used lol.

I mean, playing with friends lets you know their skill-set, in a random match it's entirely unknown and based on just how they loop and use each pallet efficiently.

If they go down in a few seconds, don't do gens, and hide around alot, than they're usually new to the game still. If they do gens when they know it's appropriate, know how to use almost every loop/ever loop, and don't play "immersed" a lot, than they're usually more on the mid-tier skill level to pro.

You'll eventually get to pro, no matter who you're, it just takes time and practice. The tips and guides above should give you a general idea of how to play Billy, what to use, and all his techniques. He really is the most balanced Killer in the game, so practice yields results BUT his power doesn't make him insanely OP to face if you know what to do, that's what makes it fun and predictable/unpredictable sometimes.
