Ruin nerf motivated me to start learning nurse and i do have to say I’m impressed ( console)
I play on Xbox and PS4, sometimes pc but I don’t have much on pc so I stick to console. Since ruin was nerfed I couldn’t play as well as I used to I used to get consistent 2-4 kills a game with my freddy build but since ruin its very inconsistent from 0-2 kills, so I deicied to throw away everything and try nurse. A little after I went into a Kyf on console and the killer said they were a baby nurse but as soon as I got in she completely destroyed us, this made me realize “ holy ######### nurse is actually good on console “. So I kept practicing, and here I am now a decent nurse player. I’m able to wipe out most teams unless they are very good, I’m currently rank 6. I don’t know if I should be thankful for the ruin nerf because I have a lot of fun playing nurse

I mained Nurse when i started to play killer and believe me you going to get tired of her . She s viable thats true but she s not fun to play and also cause exhaustion. Then i tried hillbilly and he s both fun and viable and i sitll main him after so long time so i think you wont stick with nurse long enough.

Nurse is fun but it gets very old
once you get the muscle memory down (which doesn’t take long at all, people here make her sound like rocket science but it’s not true) then games become a breeze
winning every game without any effort isn’t fun

I don't think "Nurse means easy 4k" is the real issue here. i think it's more along the lines of "Survivors suck". I see tons of people treat the nurse like a normal killer and try to pallet loop her. I down those people in moments. I've had other people that know to block los and it takes me forever to catch them. It doesn't mean nurse is an easy killer to get 4k. I think it means majority of survivors suck against nurse.
Like others have said. Nurse is not fun anymore. It's very unforgiving and exhausting if you mess up a blink. She is still powerful if you know how to blink but it's just frustrating to play her vs billy. A side note I wouldn't main nurse on console. I tried it on xbox and it was terrible. PC is best for nurse. On the charts she's like the least used killer on console for a reason.

Yes, I have had my PS4 and Xbox since release and I have multiple friends who play on different platforms so I wanted to be able to play with them

How long did it take you to get "decent?"
Since this last rank reset I too have been playing nothing but Nurse (PS4). I have gotten a lot better, but I'm still very inconsistent. It's either a 4K or 4 escape.
Once I've started to get the hang of her, the survivors that that would bully me for playing nurse at the beginning of the match would start hiding in lockers. :) I think the console nurse bullying is to try and keep us from wanting to get better at her.

Around a month to go from a baby to a nurse learner and now on my second month i consider myself a nurse player, we could practice together on psn just tell me your psn and we could do kyf

on pc I barely ever play because I play on a laptop and it Sucks, on Xbox I have everything and on PS4 I’ve been grinding a bit and I keep grinding

The thing is that against good survivors, you're still gonna waste time... sure you can down them faster than any other killer, but with all console issues, dedicated bugs, and recharge, it's more frustrating than ever to play as. ...it's 1 year and half that i play nurse she is still one of the hardest killer but also one of the most rewarding , she has many weaknesses though..a little advice if you want new nurse, stronger than before base nurse, run monitor and abuse, infectous fright, Ko, shadowborn.. with 1 range addons, 1 reduced fatigue time(the green one).. compared to old nurse you don't mess up with muscle memory, you get less fatigue, and you get free hits on generators and you counter stealth if they don't run spine chill... if you get good you slug like a beast, and it also removes the new counter, that is gain as much distance as possible when nurse is in fatigue. Ah by the way you don't get good with nurse in 2months as i'm looking in some comments, skill ceiling on console is waaay higher than pc.. if you play nurse from 2 months i could run you for 3-4 gens without dead hard..

Nurse with addons like omega blink was indeed op. Im as a nurse main would know that. I dont think something changed about her addons now as im aware she still has range addons. Addonless nurse however was balanced.

Some of her old add ons made her OP, like the 4x blink. I don't think many will argue that. I just hate the cool down they gave to her blinks. It makes traversing the map harder. It may not look like much but those extra few seconds add up. When you find someone you are probably empty. By the time you recharge you need to use both blinks just to close the distance and wait for the recharge again to attempt to hit them. It takes some getting used too.
She still has omega blink add on but I believe any killer shouldn't need add ons to be good.

Nurse is worth the grind. I play Nurse in red ranks on PC and wait for it... WITH ONE OF THESE!

Nurse used to be able to nuke survivors.
