will the 4th and final tome require getting the new killer?
have any of the upcoming challenges been shared? does anybody know if the deathslinger will be required?

This tome focuses on Jane, David, Doctor and Spirit. You won't see any other characters here.

There's actually a leaked video of the challenges on YouTube. I don't think I'm allowed to share it here. So try looking it up for yourself.
To answer your question in one word : No.
All memories of David, Rin Yamaoka, Jane and Herman Carter have been completed in the existing challenges. You will only be able to to unlock observations and revelations. The challenges will also revolve around these four characters mentioned above.

No. Tomes will only include original characters that can be purchased with Iridescent Shards. Any character that can only be bought with real money or Auric Cells will not be required for a challenge. Their perks may be, but in that case, they will appear in the shrine for a week around the time the challenge is added.

Nice, anyway they already have their story insta their franchise. I'm only sad about Ghostface which is an original character in a licensed costume :/

It actually is, because the subjects of the tomes were released earlier so it’s two survivors and two killers. Not a third.

I know! It definitely is cool to read. It also helps when there is a tab in game called “News!” You should take a peak at it sometime.
It also helps that I already saw what was on level 4 of tome 2.

I must say it is a pity, cos it would have been really cool to have tomes regarding licensed characters too, but I can understand and respect the choice, it is quite kind to not "force" people to buy chapters to complete tomes.

Lol, normally I would say "there are no dumb questions" but.... I kind of have to agree here. There is absolutely no reason to think they would change characters mid chapter. I'm fairly certain that the challenges are already known even and have been for a while.
