New Chapter Official Broadcast, release date and Synopsis
They didn't say anything new but the official date of release "March 10th" and they showed the killer and survivors as we already knew them, no buffs or changes officially comming for him yet, for now I guess he's staying just as he was in the PTB.

That’s actually very disappointing for me. I found deathslinger very underwhelming even with good aim/perks. I was hoping for some tweaks, but I’ll probably wait awhile longer before getting him then.

I am very disappointed he is not getting any adjustments from the PTB to release. Did they say why they were not making any changes to an arguably very weak Killer?

I think you can be quite decent at him.
But remember this: good aim doesnt do ######### if hitboxes dont match survivior models.
You need to remember how it looks like and act based on that

Ok, quick summary (some are quotes, some are me explaining what they said, you figure it out)
Guns are cool.
Joked about pirates next, also ninjas.
Talked about the deathslinger's character.
It's really responsive, it's fast (the gun).
Talked about zarina.
Go read the backstory, it's cool and more detailed.

Did they mention anything about the Doctor buffs? I'm really excited for them (more excited for them than the new Chapter actually) and I'm worried that they're going to end up not going live for whatever reason.

Sigh. I haven't played since the Plague chapter and the Deathslinger's aesthetic got me interested in the game again. The lack of changes to his PTB strength is disheartening. Guess I'll have to keep waiting.

Just a week ago or so, one of the devs told me that "there is no need to make hitboxes more accurate, because DBD is not a precision based game" a now they compare Deathslinger gameplay to FPS games lmao
PLEASE SHOW ME 1 SHOOTER GAME (with similiar player base to DBD) THAT HAS PILL-SHAPED HITBOXES LIKE DBD

There were no mentionings on the Doc and perk changes because it only covered the new content, not the PTB. And as it was pretty obvious that it was not a live stream, I don't know how old the video was. What confused me was, that Guillaume said "Gearhead takes 2 hits to activate" and the text shown said "3 hits". Not sure if this is a typo or if it IS a change to the PTB.
And as it was a video with 'unknown age', it is possible that they were not even aware or decided about any changes that need to be done to the PTB (if the PTB even started at that point). If the "3 hits" condition is a change, that could be done also after the video was made as overlay. Although I hope this does not happen, as I think Gearhead is already a weaker information perk.

Maybe I explained myself badly, I didn't mean to say they literally said no changes are comming, but the fact that they didn't mention any changes to him, so, for now, he's staying just as he was in the PTB. Sorry if I didn't make myslef clear, gonna edit to be more accurate.

Clown and Legion... good? What alternate timeline DBD are you playing? It's no secret that Clown and Legion are objectively the two worst killers in the game. You can know what you're doing as Clown and Legion and still end up with a 1K. No map pressure for either, Clown's power barely stops loops, Legion's stun is so punishing using their power is more of a hinderance, neither power has any lethality, Deep Wounds is a joke of a status effect, Intoxication is too, causes more headaches than downs at this point. Can you have fun with them? Yes, absolutely. Are they strong? As far from it as possible.

why? those changes arent included in the chapter, they just happened to come in the same patch but the chapter only have 1 killer, 1 survivor and 1 map. the rest are only in the same patch

I main Clown and Legion as a rank 1 killer and never have bad results with them. If you think they are that bad, it could be that everyone doesn't play them right or makes too many mistakes. I see too many Clowns wasting their bottles before they even reach a loop, let alone not aim them towards a survivor if their plan is to slow them down.
Legion's power relies on the Deep Wound effect, that promotes anti-gen gameplay as you hit as many survivors you can with Frenzy. I will say the Deep Wound status effect is indeed weak, because an inflicted survivor can still do a gen for a brief amount of time before it falls too low, which is bad. They need to really reduce the base time of Deep Wound on Legion's power. THEN DW would be a real threat.
