The Nun as a killer?
Valak would be an awesome killer in DBD,
The chase music can be the soundtrack from the movie
They could also have Lorraine Warren as a survivor
The map could be set in Church

I don't understand, because that film was bad doesn't mean the villain was awful. Example Nightmare on elm street has many bad films like 2, 4, 5 and the final nightmare

The nun in the conjuring was just a scare. And not part of the reason why the movie was good.
And on her/his own movie, it was the most unscary and inneffective demon I ever saw in a horror film.

The first answer however is wrong, it's majority of the reason why the second film was good. The most praise came from the Nun itself, it had so much praise that they made a spin-off film of it

The nun was annouced 5 days after the opening of the conjuring.
"On June 15, 2016, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema announced The Nun, a spin-off film to The Conjuring 2, which had opened five days earlier."
So I'm pretty sure there was no time to see which character people liked, and they just wanted to make money fast

It's simple if you don't like the Nun as a dbd character that's fine, it's the fact that you came up with a lame reasoning that "I rather have killers from "good" movies/series". Whereas The Conjuring is the second biggest movie universe and has praised ever since it's release.

Obviously you haven’t watched the Conjuring 2 because she was about kill either Ed or Janet when they were hanging on the curtain. In the beginning of the Nun movie she killed one of the nuns.

Have you thought about what Valak's power would be?
She'd be really creepy to go against. Especially in a darkened Church map. Like in The Nun (film), narrow hallways; dormatories; courtyard areas with overlooking balconies on the upper floor of the map; secret chambers; the misty boweles of the building. It would be very creepy and very aesthetically satisfying to navigate in the gameplay of chases and evading a killer, espcially Valek and Myers.

How about Imhotep from The Mummy 1 and 2? He's a mummy, tries to take control of the world, didnt care who got killed..... got defeated in the end. But what if he didnt get sent back to the afterlife? What if the Entity got him instead? We would have one awesome desert pyramid type map.
