Yamaoka maps are intended to be this dark or "It's a feature" or a bug that will never be fixed?

Maps are so unplayable, so dark as killer and survivor. Can someone could answer me please?

I don't think the devs have ever commented on it sadly

Yep, that's the problem. They never commented any issue in the game, they just ignore facts like that one or sounds broken, ded servers working like sh!t, etc.

I don't give a damn about brightness of the maps. Nvidia Experience and it's bright as day.

Looks horrible with filters. Devs should fix that but Idk if they will.

Who cares as long as it’s a killer problem. Just like mute survivor sound in the dying state, sounds in general, the Wraith-flashlight bug, etc.

It really shows after the Ruin nerf that the devs favor survivors and will cater to their needs, just take a look at how fast DS was fixed when it was bugged with Doctor’s skill checks.

Remember the bouquets? It's the new moon offering for those two. It's even worse when playing Freddy. I'd disconnect if I was playing him. Screw the penalty. Why should I be penalized at the incompetence of the developers who can't simply adjust that? I'm glad I rarely get that map. When I do, I just simply say the famous echo chamber slogan at Behavior headquarters...good job so far.

Yep, I mean I'm not a killer main but yep, that's true. Devs are so ######### survivor biased, no matter how many times they denied it. The fact that toolboxes are getting nerfed it's just because killer population it's very very low now after Ruin. It's a pity, BHVR is killing slowly their only successfull game (since Deathgarden was garbage and died pretty fast) with poorly decisions, bad balancing and optimization.

Look how quick they nerfed MoM after Ash was released for about a month or two. How about the doc rework of getting an AOE shock to find survivors right off the bat? Not to mention he's getting a counter-clockwise skill check built in (why this is needed, I don't know). All killers are now going to be able to close a window (killer shack will always be closed on the small maps). I'm glad ruin was finally nerfed. It was so annoying with that perk being more than 75% of my games as survivor. Hell, there were times ruin didn't even matter if survivors were competent in skill checks. It didn't bother me as a survivor as I was competent in skill checks. Every so often, I'd have a bad game and go find it. As far as playing killer, majority of the time, survivors didn't even destroy it. They pushed through it. But, that's just me.
