How do you counter a key with three toolboxes?
Like your gens are going to fall fast and if you get a kill or two the hatch will spawn if you're doing very well.

Franklins

Leave them in the lobby.

queue-dodge.
If i see 2 or more toolboxes or a key, i bring a mori. If i see both, i'd dodge.

As others have said, some fights just aren't worth taking. Pop smoke and go for the next lobby.

You could always target the person with the key first if it really bothers you that much. No matter what you do there is always the possibility that one will be found in a chest so I don’t worry about it. Also there’s no guarantee that they will find the hatch before they die. Other than that, what others have already told you is probably about it.

Simply play Huntress with iri head, infantry belt, and an ebony mori, with corrupt and pop.
This is my first reaction if I see 3 or more toolboxes, and I usually win with one or two gens left.

Wait, you can actually see the key in the lobby ? Well it's already your lucky day !
Sometimes when a game is stacked against you the only way to win is to not play at all.
Yeah I often see the whole, franks/mori/tunnel/camp proposed as a counter, suffice to say if those are proposed as "solutions" there is a big problem here.
To play as killer abiding by something resembling the "survivor rule book" (Sign up now for our free course) just to get the 1 gen, 2-3 down the hatch, taking out the last phase of the game (exit gates) where at least the killer will probably get a shot at some one and the gameplay that will follow if you get some one down/hooked at the exit gate stage of the game is a HUGE cost to pay on the killers side.
Everyone draws the line somewhere, to put effort into killer just to get that, more so with the key challenges, where some times you can't even see the key in the lobby, that's a deal breaker ladies.
Que survivors complaining about waiting times and getting more and more killers who just are just going to do camp/tunnel/mori.

Slugging everybody dies on first hook, only way to do it.

I say play casual. Practice your chases, and consider anything you earn as bonus. This team is designed to quickly repair 2 gens and escape.
That’s fine and dandy. They get to play for 4 minutes and then go back to their campfire simulator for the next 10 minutes. You, on the other hand, get to instantly start up your next match against a new team and keep having fun. Not sure why they choose to spend their time like this, rushing from campfire to campfire, but oh well. Let ‘em!

Lobby dodge. They obviously don't want a real match.
If you want to suffer through it, Franklins. Bring NOED, since those gens are going to fly. Tunnel the key holder into the ground.

So because they stacked the deck with a key and toolboxes, you're advice to the killer is "it's just a game bro". So because they took it seriously the killer isn't allowed to? Seems a little bit of a double standard.
While I agree they will spend way more time in queue than you, if you are someone who does have a rank goal or is looking to pip up getting a de-pip cause some 4 man sweatfest brought in every unbalanced advantage in the book isn't particularly fair.
Now if survivors bringing a key automatically guaranteed a safety pip for the killer this would be a different story, but as it currently stands the killer is left with a no-win game, a de-pip for their trouble, and a frankly crap experience just cause a group of survivors wanted to stack the deck.

Realize that the guy with a key is probably just doing the challenge. If it REALLY bothers you that much, dodge the lobby. If I see 3 toolboxes, I'll sometimes bring an ebony mori, franklin's and noed (I won't tunnel off the hook though, cause I'm not an #########). But if I think they're trying to do a challenge, I let them get it and hope they're really just doing a challenge and it saves the next killer the pain.

I'm still not trash and camp. I won't camp. Besides, when I bring a key I'll usually hide it somewhere so if I die my friends can get it. But if survivors do the objective to get the hatch to come up, oh well. It is the only few times I will mori after first hook though.

Slug, bring a ebony mori or lobby dodge those are yoir choice honestly you wont have fun in a 2 minute game and if you bring a mori and kill them all you will be salty regardless because a 2 minute game is not fun

Fair enough.
If you want pips: lobby dodge.
If not: “it’s just a game bro”.

You don't.

Dodge the match

I just expect a loss and play like normal.
I mean if I get like one kill and they are like "Ggez" it's like....yall have toolboxes....of course it's easy? It would be easy if I brought a mori too.

LOL every match is tunnel and some matches have face campers. Doesn't matter what you bring, it always happens. That's why a lot of people just cancel the match if they see a Mori.

Equal power to that is probably like Spirit with a Mori and green and purple add-ons. If you want to have a chance against something like that you need to bring a killer and add-ons of equal power, simple as that.

Keys should at least make it take time to open the hatch. Even Ebony Moris make the Killer spend a little bit of time because of the length of the animations.

Hope they're bad and focus on killing Key dude first (you don't need to tunnel, just make sure they're the first one dead).
Most Key people bring Weaved Rings, so once you kill Key dude you should be okay to try for a 3 gen.
If not then hope you can smack the Key with Franklin's enough that it'll die.

Tunnel two toolboxes, then slug the last two.

Play Survivor

If you hit them 10 times with franklins they lose the key so just slug allooot until they lose the key then play normally
0 -
Idk it works for me just slug 3 people then let them pick up the key person and down him 10 times or you can just tunnel him out the game which would be wayy simpler

Mori, Spirit, Nurse or Oni. Slugg all 4 of them ez win. They will probably rage quit, dont try this at home!
