How is that not a win?
Barely Brutal killer. This was a win, a huge win. Why do i get punished for winning? I did my objective very good.
Sure the survivors didnt have much fun, but thats not my fault. Why do I have to let one person live so they can all be unhooked again?
I dont know any other game where you have to "Pet" the enemies to actually win.

Ahhh, I see the issue. You didn't have a good gaming chair.
For real though, the main issue is that for ranking up, you have to play by the survivor rulebook. It is mandatory.

Outdoing game mechanics with cheap gameplay isnt rewarded by ranking design. And thats totally okay.

Simple. You didn’t let the survivors have fun.
Learn to give others a chance >:(

Not gonna say if it's good or not, but what happens is simple.
By finishing the match this fast, you won't perform as many actions as in regular-duration matches, and thus don't gain enough points in certain Emblem categories.
You could always ignore the Entity's victory message & the ranking system, and regard the amount of kills per match (and how fast) to say whether it's a victory or not.

It was a win, by all known laws of game design and common sense.
The Emblem system is reflective of absolutely nothing except how well you adhered to a very specific playstyle. It's so flawed in so many ways, so don't let it make you feel bad. The sooner you learn to ignore it and play how you want to (within the rules, of course), the happier you'll be.

Ranking doesn't matter aside from the level of toxicity you have to deal with the higher you go.
Just play the game, take that free BP and shards, and enjoy it. It's so easy to rank up in this game anyways, you'll be level 1 before you realize it whether you're killer or survivor.

You may not have won the match but you certainly won the hearts and minds of killers.

Failed in your primary goal of entertaining the Entity.

A lesser power? You do know that the Entity pulled everyone into the realm for different times and dimensions, right? And it literally created the world in which the game is set? And gave basically all the killers, except the licenced ones, their abilities and powers. In what way is the Entity a lesser power?!

Same for survivors. Sometimes you just pound gennys...killer can't hook anyone so no benevolence score. Escape. And depip. Like how's is that not a win?
Guess gotta let killer hook people to have a chance to pip.

The entity should be happy with your skill in destroying the survivors, interesting to see a DC.

It is a win as you had a game where you felt like you did well its just not a way to rank up where it really should as in theory you should be pushed away from these players to be matched with those who present more of a challenge.
The emblem system does kind of make sense with the lore as the entity feeds off hope. This game the entity would not have been fed as much and as such would be displeased with you not giving them what they desire the most.
That itself is an issue with the system and how it is used to match make and one of the reasons a new way to do this has been needed for a long time. If you felt like you won don't let the end game screen tell you any different as a win is not just what the game tells you but how you felt you played.

When I play as my trapper, once in awhile I get some really dumb survivors. I'll hook someone in the basement, rig the place like the vietcong and leave. Someone might step in a trap and I add them to the basement hooks. Rearm, patrol again. Then someone else comes by and steps in the same trap. At this point I have 3 people in the basement so I don't leave. I find the 4th sitting outside and I down him. All 4 in the basement and like 1-2 gens got completed. I don;t even safety. The reason being my chaser and brutality were very low. They came to me and stepped in traps. I picked them up. So I had next to no chases and hardly any hits because picking them up in traps is more bloodpoints. I 4ked easily because of their mistakes and the entity was displeased.
The ranking system is a joke. It tries to get you to go easy on the survivors if your winning. Best to ignore it. Besides pipping is over rated. The higher up in rank the higher your odds of getting only red survivors. At least at yellow or green ranks you have a "chance" of getting people your rank.

The ranking system is flawed here, but for both sides (as usual).
if a killer is afk survivors can’t pip (if they don’t dance in the terrorradius to simulate chases that is).
but the system encourages interactions and „fair“ play so matches can be more entertaining, for both sides again. And this system -while flawed- is definitely better than just escape/kill-based ranking.

Because it wasn’t a win. In order to win as a Killer, all four Survivors must have a lot of fun throughout the game and you must give them an insane amount of chances to escape.

"Rig the place like the vietcong"
You made me laugh in class and I love you for it lmao

If you felt the game was a win, it was a win. The broken embelm and ranking system should not dictate what you feel is a win.

Thx for all the answers. Guess next time i really need to let someone live and unhook the others. Thats really nice XD
