Cheat Death - new Exhaustion perk
Cheat Death - survivor perk.
Once activated, the next occasion that would put you into the Dying State is ignored and you break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds. After 3 seconds you automaticaly put into dying state.
Causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Cheat Death cannot be used when Exhausted.
You do not recover from Exhaustion while running.
Despite this perk could look like useless it actually have many great uses:
Run away from the basement, despite it is hardcamped.
Unhook trade vs campers (does not work vs grasps tho).
Take position under pallet/locker for further save from teammates.
Have great synergy with tenacity to cover great distances and probably get away from the killer.
Escaping through gates/hatch.
Tap generator (or even finish) before being knocked down.
And probably some more uses!

I think that's a really cool idea, so something like old Borrowed Time but with longer speed boost and shorter bleedout.

That seems like a pretty interesting idea, but I would definitely increase the timer, 3 seconds will almost never get you anywhere useful

While i am against second chance or "lok that didnt count" perks, 3 seconds is way too short.
Try deep wounds instead of the 3 second instant down.

I think it's already strong enough, as it can almost guarantee trigger 3 times even if you are tunneled and wastes much time of a killer with also giving you good opportunities to escape without being hooked. But if buff is really needed death timer can be increased to 5 seconds with sprint left at 3.
Giving this perk a deep wounds effect will make it infinetely op and broken.

I don't like this perk's potential with regards to endgame escapes. Get unhooked via BT, tank that hit, tank another hit to proc this and get closer to the Exit Gate, then if you haven't escaped through the open Gate, DS would buy you enough time to crawl to the Exit. It feels kinda unfair to have so many safeguards potentially active during the Endgame.
That would make the perk stronger than old Mettle of Man, I think.

For the endgame escape issue you brought up, the perk cpuld also not stack with deep wound so bt would counter a survivor perk making the low risk high reward of bt a bit more risky.

I suppose that is true, though this + Decisive Strike still means that they get an extra boost toward the Exit Gate that may still enable DS to carry them the rest of the way crawling. Not sure I can get behind that.

Also it's an exhausted perk, meaning you can't use other exhausted perks with it, Dead Hard for example, that also can help you rush exit.

I like the idea of this perk, but I can see it being abused hard.
I'd instead make it only activate once per match and increase the speed boost time to 5 seconds.
Also, make sure to leave perk suggestions in Share Your Work section next time.

That's a busted perk everyone would use it sounds like old mettle and would be hard abused with ds and bt

I was under the impression it triggers only once, or under a certain condition.
But you're right. If its for every down, it certainly would be too strong.

I feel like Cheat Death would be a better perk for making a break for the exit than Dead Hard, but that's just me.

I like it, but as others have said, 3 seconds is way too short to get anywhere useful or safe. Maybe increase it to five seconds at the cost of Exhaustion not going away on hook for this specific perk?

Hell no. This would be abused to hell and back.

so it's buff mettle of man

More 2nd chance perks with no counter play because looping is too hard, nice.

If it's too strong can have some downsides also (one of following):
1) Requires you to be hooked once
2) Applies hindered for 30 seconds
3) You can not do any actions other than vaulting or pallet dropping
4) Applies Haemorrhage and Mangled until you fully healed. Perk activates again only after fully healed.

should be 5 seconds imho

It can also trigger only on protection hits so it requires some setup, or hits taken close to another survivors, so it's more stable to trigger.
