What do you think about Vigil?
It is not an advantage that I personally use, but I see it insufficient. It would not be bad if we showed an increase of 20/25/30 i think ;v
What are your thoughts, do you suggest a change?

Its actually one of the handful of perks they mentioned taking a look at.
I like it the way it is though, I run it on my Ash mostly just to help others with it, however sligth that boost may be.

In the past, the Streetwise advantage was around 15%, which is now 25%. In this advantage, he needs such a passion.

It should keep the stats but just more status effects that it can lower such as adding oblivious and/or exposure to the list. If exposure alone was added a lot more would run it. It would be a nice not too strong counter to exposure builds/killers.
2 -
Shaving a few seconds off exhaustion is always nice. Though the other effects feel too few and far between to really benefit.
2 -
Many negative effects tend to be permanent until something else in the game happens, let it be cleansing a hex totem or being healed. The only way you can get a timed effect that isn't exposed or exhausted is when the killer uses status effect add-ons, which are already pretty weak. It's only really useful when alongside an exhaustion perk to basically make it rank 4.

I would mostly want Vigil to get reworked into something else entirely. But if thats not an option, they need to remove the stacking and increase the values, as well as include some more status effects.

Yeah I noticed that this advantage doesn't have these effects;
Broken, Madness, and Oblivious

I use Vigil occasionally, if I know my wife is running a tier one exhaustion perk.
It can be handy if the killer is using add-ons that cause status effects like hemorrhage, blindness, mangled, etc., but those don't happen often enough for Vigil to be consistently useful (for me, anyway).
But despite needing some help, it's still better than Second Wind!

This advantage does not support the Broken effect. Broken, Madness, and Oblivious no effect support.

I'm aware of this and didn't see the need to mention what Vigil already doesn't cover. It's entirely moot since those status effects aren't even on the table in the first place.
Again, the reason I don't run Vigil much is because it's too limited & conditional. I only use it to help relieve tier 1 exhaustion perks, and even that I do sparingly because even that is conditional.

In its current state is mostly useless.
Most status effects are pernament till a condition is met and exhaustion doesn't recover while running (and most of the time you will get your exhaustion back anyways if the killer loses you and finds you again)

Frankly, I am thinking of a change for this.
- Vigil: You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your Allies within a range of 8 metres recover from Exhaustion, Haemorrhage, Mangled, Hindered, Blindness, Broken, Madness and Oblivious Status Effects 20/25/30 % faster. Once out of range, this effect persists for 15 seconds.
What do you think?

Ohhhh, I get you now! Sorry, it took me a minute to see where we were going.
I think those changes would be an improvement, but I'd still be reluctant to use Vigil, even with those buffs. Because, like Milo explained, so many status effects are permanent until you change a health state, or a piggy party hat is removed, or some other requirement is met.
With the changes to Doc's Madness coming out, a revised Vigil still wouldn't be that helpful. Since there's no decay to his Madness with this change, it will be permanent until the 'snap out of it' requirement is met.
If Clown or Huntress or Hag are hindering/mangling/blindness, etc. with add-ons, it's kind of handy, but that's rare enough that I wouldn't want to use up a perk slot still. There's no way to make Freddy stop making your Oblivious while you're asleep, or to rush Myers out of tier one, and so on.
I think Vigil would be cool if it could help your actions along, like wake up faster and wake up others faster, or remove that multiple waking up penalty. Also to snap out of it faster, and that sort of thing. It needs some love though, that's for sure.

That it would help, but only a little bit.
It would still be pretty bad.

You may be right about Madness, but such a change would be really nice. Permanent effects can generally be considered as doctor 3.tier and freddy dream world, but there are some ways to get these effects. Nemesis and Hex: Retribution as...and other than that, it will be very useful for second wind and deliverance.

so why?

Well you are free to exercise the right to silence, at least, @DudeDelicious What do you think if I have to ask for the last time?
- Vigil: You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your Allies within a range of 8 metres recover from Exhaustion, Haemorrhage, Mangled, Hindered, Blindness, Broken, Madness and Oblivious Status Effects 20/25/30 % faster. Once out of range, this effect persists for 15 seconds.

Vigil was added to the game when exhaustion recovery whilst sprinting and 33% faster recovery while crouching was a thing. That's why Vigil's values are so low. Since the devs removed the 33% faster recovery while sitting (working on a gen) and recovery whilst sprinting the values might as well be doubled. Even then no one would use it at red ranks as meta perks quite simply have a bigger impact than being able to use your exhaustion perk earlier again.

Jeez, sorry. I'm not 24/7 on this forums (atleast not as often as i used to be tbh)
Again. 75% of the perk doesn't even work because most killers EVEN if they apply those status effects they are active until something is done (getting healed, walking out of an area etc.)
Although it's my bad that i forgot that there are new perks that apply Broken and Oblivious and yes with these (For the People, Hex; Retribution, Nemesis and also Delivarence) this buff would help, althought i'm not sure if it would get used even slightly more than now.

I’ve actually always wondered what the practical uses of Vigil were, so I’m glad to actually see a discussion about it where it’s explained really well; Most appreciated!

I think noone usually thinks about Vigil, let's be honest...

Super annoying operator to go up against. K1 is a very solid weapon and the BOSG can be suprisingly effective. Gadget is a little weak and doesn't do anything to help the team.
0 -
I've thought about combining it with several other perks, such as Better Together and Prove Thyself.
Problem for me is that it relies on proximity to teammates, and while recovering from Exhaustion faster is great, there aren't that many who use the other effects on a timer.

Thank you guys, thank you all for sharing your opinions about it!
Now, I think this new advantage can be this way.
Vigil
- You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your Allies within a range of 8 metres recover from Exhaustion, Haemorrhage, Mangled, Hindered, Blindness, Broken, Madness and Oblivious Status Effects 20/25/30 % faster. Once out of range, this effect persists for 15 seconds.
- No stack.
Answers to common questions
Will there be a stack?
- @DudeDelicious as he said it can completely disrupt this balance. If 4 people use this advantage, it will be 120% in total. To avoid this, it would be best to remove the stack event.
So why madness?
- In fact, it would be great to reduce the required madness for the doctor's 1st and 2nd level. The faster this is, the less likely we will be to be madness 3.
Broken and Oblivious?
- If I need to list this in general, new effects appear with new advantages. Especially as I said: Deliverance, Second Wind, For the People, Blood Echo, Nemesis and Hex: Retribution etc. it will be useful in such uses.
Exposed effect?
- I'm not sure about this, frankly, but it's a bad effect. I think I will leave this decision to the developers.
This advantage is still not strong.
- This advantage does not need to be op or meta. As a result, you help your teammates disappear quickly from bad effects. I have no great expectations about this.
These are my last views, but you are free to share your ideas and suggestions on this subject. However, I think that such a change will increase the use of this advantage. Still, I think it will be useful, even if it doesn't work sometimes. @Peanits Do you want to share your opinions on this matter?

There is such a feature in this advantage and other advantages. In other words, 30% in general is not an exaggerated figure. Especially if you need to calculate this, now the vigil is 20%. So...
7.61 second save if we consider it 30%. 7,61/2=3,805 will provide a reduction. Overall it shows a reduction of up to 11,415 second unless I miscalculated. Apart from that, the Streetwise stack event may upset the balance. If 4 people use this, they will be 100% efficient if they are close to each other, especially in 3.6.0, toolboxes change and especially medkites can be charge very long lasting.
If I did not misunderstand what he was saying, it should already be a blanket. If this change comes, there will only be a decrease with a bad impact rate of 11,415 seconds. If I need to add to this, the Streetwise and Vigil stack event should be removed so as not to disturb the balance. Is there anything else you would like to mention? I am open to your suggestions and thoughts.

The major problem with Vigil is that if it's given too much love, then it could be too good, so it'll need some time.

There is still no sound from the developer, frankly, I don't even know if our feedback is given importance.

@Raven9 I wouldn't count on it.
