What is going on with the I's?
Also did the killer disconnect?

Read the patchnotes. Survivors lose their add-ons upon escape, unless they're running Ace in the Hole.

It's part of the update. You'll now keep your item even if you use it up fully (it'll deactivate and be unusable for the rest of the match, though), but you'll lose your add-ons no matter what like killers. If you want to keep your add-ons, you can throw on Ace in the Hole.

There is a very limited amount of killer addons, when the survivors go through their blood web there is so many that it shouldn't be thought of the same way.
They're flooded with useless key and map addons and only very rarely do you get the ones you want.
9 -
People use maybe ~10 addons typically and the other 3 1/3 pages are garbage.
2 -
Have you ever played killer? There's maybe 2 - 6 add-ons per killer that range from "meh" to "pretty good" with the rest being garbage. Killers also get a ton of useless offerings with some of them being harmful for the killer and beneficial for the survivors.
5 -
Yeah but the addons are easily replenished due to the lack of variety in their bloodweb.
Survivors have so much variety it's ridiculous they're burning our addons all the time.
3 -
Go play Ghost Face and tell me how quickly you can replenish chewed pens and Olsen's address books. Those are green and yellow add-ons btw.
I think it's worth mentioning that survivors have the ability to find items with add-ons attached in chests. Not to mention the fact that items and add-ons are far less necessary for survivors than they are for killers.

Why did they keep the addon change that made no sense......
1 -
This was literally announced and planned. Survivors no longer keep add ons yall. Reading is fundamental

Seconded.

If you would know, they usually announce "nothing is certain" in the PTB.
Reading is fundamental, but so is your grammar.

Why was this made though? It really doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would I want to keep my uncommon toolbox when I already have 156? I want to get rid of all of them. Also with the addons, I don't get why we have to waste a perk slot just to keep addons. Items and Addons were fine the way they were imo.
Killers have less addons and are easier to get back while Survivors have a ton of addons due to there being different types of items.

Except for Spirit. There's literally not a bad add on for her. Only difference I'll add is survivors earn less bp per match vs. killer, and killers can run BBQ (which, while not the best perk these days, still offers something along with its double bp, vs. WGLF which just gets you points).
My guess would be the change was just a low key way to get more people to play killer, for more bp. We'll see what happens :)

Everything I said was grammatically correct, but nice try.
If people would read, they wouldn't be surprised. This has been public knowledge for a while.
1 -
People would use most of their item and leave a sliver left before anyway, so it was already practically the same before. Since most items are used up very quickly now, we want to avoid that awkward situation where you're staring down the item charges waiting until the last second to let go.
As for add-ons, they are consistent with the killer's add-ons. Add-ons are used up no matter what, whether you escape or not, whether you get a 4k or not.

Cute how you JUST added periods and commas to your sentences.
But whatever, next topic.

I guess so, I just felt like Killer addons and Survivor addons were different if that makes sense. I still think that we should be able to fully deplete and get rid of the item instead of keeping it.

Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe, Styptic Agent and Brand New Part can we remove the deletion event? As a result, we will lose add-ons while escape. I think it would be nice for the White Ward.

Wait, they didn't know?
Lol they didn't know.
0 -
Why? So you can bring Ace in the Hole and re-use your one use only items more than once? How about no?
1 -
So can you guarantee that you can escape every game from the game?
0 -
I don't think you're really taking on board what people are saying about the add-ons from a survivor perspective. Survivors get less points from an average and they have to buy items and add ons on the bloodweb plus there is an abundance of useless add ons for keys and maps. WGLF is a poor equivalent to BBQ as it does nothing else other than give points.
I assume this is just intended as a stealth survivor nerf in that there will be less add-ons to be used because god forbid a toolbox lasts longer than 7 seconds.
As a killer I have never struggled to have enough add ons. As a survivor I have often been left with nothing to put on even before these changes.

This 1000 times.

Oh boy...

You mean like how killers can protect their ultra rare add ons game after game after game?
0 -
No but that's the whole point of the game.. Win some, lose some. I don't see why that argument has anything to do with the topic though, since, ace in the hole it or not, you'd need to escape to keep the item.
You mean like how white wards are a thing? Gee
0 -
Yes they are a thing but they only protect on death. A killer gets to keep their ultra rare add ons when they have used them all game by protecting them. The point here is the add ons mentioned earlier, once used they get deleted from the trial even if you have a ward on and even if you die.

Even with Ace in the Hole equipped?

This content has been removed.

Brand new part, syringes and styptic all disappear from the item when they get used. There is no way to protect those when they get used.
On the flip side a killer can equip 2 ultra rare add-ons stick a ward on and leave that game with both of those add-ons he used all game to use in the next game.
Since the alleged changes to add-ons was to bring survivors in line with killers, strange how that aspect was left different, eh?

You usually enter it with valuable add-on, and it will generally be pointless to use it. So you enter the game with 3 advantages. not op

As you said items are used up quickly, so what sense is it to change the one things that helps extend there use ? The rarity of the add ons to extend some of the use for the items is already silly . I play this game a lot everyday I don’t no how many hours but I can say I have a lot , I can say I have a lot of items , a lot but when I look at my add ons I have hardly any decent ones compared to Amount of offerings and The of useless addons of maps, keys medkits toolkits that I will never use . ie, increase the size of a skill check, increase the flash accuracy ( btw it does nothing) Decrese mist the list can go on , I rarely find things in my web that I actually use. Everyone is different in what they find useful so some might find them ok
so I’m presuming this for the “new players” who use there only one to items they have, okay so what about the people who play the game all the time and have 100 brown tool kits LOl what am I going to do with them? Some would say wel you shouldn’t have brought them we all play this game you see how many different things there are to choose from not much choice to choose the bad stuff as it progresses you to the next web, also it’s to be more Inline with killers add ons but they make more bloodpoints a game and they also have less things to choose from?
I cant understand why if we escape a game touched or untouched should I lose my add ons ? But keep my item when I have 100 of them :/ the ratio of items to addons , ahh I feel like this is just a big kick in the teeth to the survivors, it was already a gamble to bring in a item on the off chance you lose on death but that’s fine if you care about losing it that much use the ward but now I’m being forced to take up a perk slot .. to keep to add ons I think that’s pretty ridiculous, I’m a solo survivor I don’t have perks to be wasting on keeping add ons.. so thank you for my new trophy cabinet of items I have accumulated over my time of playing dead by daylight .
Edit: also the reason I believe majority of people 99 items is so we don’t lose our add ons if , me personally if I don’t have add ons I burn the item .

Because Killers have to deal with it too?
