Trapper additional power idea
So we all know trapper is arguably one of the weakest killers in the game, even with his recent buff. Arguably, trapper needs more traps.
I'm not a dev, but I had this idea of Trapper receiving auto spawn net and barbed wire traps.
Net traps are randomly placed around 3 random generators at random sides/angles. When the trapped gen is complete, and a survivor is standing on the trapped side of a gen, they get caught. Struggle mechanic maybe?
Barbed wire can be generated around a few random window vaults and pallets. Using these windows/pallets causes a survivor to get injured. Survivors can use these while they are injured without entering the dying status.
Add-on ideas... maybe something that lets The Trapper see where the randomly generated traps are?
Just an idea I really wish was in the game. What do you think?

Hm I am personally not a fan of random things. The idea is not bad but that would make Trapper more unreliable imo. I personally preffer buffing Trapper otherwise.
My idea was to punish injured survivors somehow if they get trapped, maybe they suffer from the Honing Stone effect when they step into a trap while beeing injured? Also let the trapper carry 2 or 3 traps at base and the random traps around the map should spawn near too hooks and gens. Also make that survivors get some sort of punishment for disarming a trap, it is already punishing enough for the trapper getting a trap disarmed, so give a "cost" to disarm the trap imo. Maybe disarming traps should have a cooldown, make you mangled? Increase the rescue time to help someone out of a trap to 4 or 5 sec. Also survivors should not be able to free themselves at random luck at the first time. Make it that survivors have to struggle atleast 3 times without a chance to escape, then at the 4th and other times your chances increases to escape from the trap by yourself. And last but not least, make it not able to dead hard over traps. That would be my suggestions, still just my opinion thought.

I wouldn't say this could be used for his active power, but as addons themselves. Similar to Freddy being able to shift from snares to pallets.
The net trap doesn't sound any different than his regular traps. Not sure how useful it could be, especially when you consider the size of maps.
The barbed wire sounds interesting, but pretty situational. Make it an addon, allow you to set traps on vault areas. Don't think it would work on pallets.

I think I has a rare idea, but weaker Killers like Trapper Clown should have various tools in hand. Rather than 1 direction like Nurse/Spirit/Hillbilly.
Freddy is one perfect example for that: able to shift between Gens, snare to slow down abit that can be replaced with fake pallets, sleep mechanic requires time to wake up..
Trappers need more traps, not bear trap but different traps. Some add-on will add in a different traps:
- Window trap: remove 2 Bear traps, replaced with 2 Window traps. Stand next to the window and disable with M1, perform a vault will get trapped.
- Gen trap: remove 2 Bear traps, replaced with 1 Gen trap. First Survivor start fixing the trapped Gen will get Overcharge hard skillscheck, fail will get trapped.
