Infinites should be bannable
If a survivor abuses an infinite, it should be bannable. It's an exploit no different to me then the nurse spasmodic addon exploit which they were banning for.

It should be fixed. If it's there, why should it not be? Doesn't mean it's alright, but you can't ban somebody for something the devs are okay with.

Huge difference between something being intended (long loops) and using an add-on the has an unintended side effect if you use it under certain circumstances etc.

I've spent a lot of money on this game. If I got banned for just playing the game I would be furious.
I sometimes point at people cowering in a locker. I suppose I should be banned for that too.
The player base is too low as it is. Stop trying to reduce it even further.

I didn't say running a loop was. I said specifically an infinite is an exploit. Looping is fine.

If a player uses an infinite against you, you being outplayed (they're more skilled than you).
Ignore them and focus on everyone else. They will struggle to survive when EGC begins and the hatch is closed.

I saw Puppers use the Spasmatic Breath and no one got banned.
I've heard of NO ONE that got banned for that exploit. Calm down here.

I haven't played on the new map yet.
Sanctum of Wrath has an infinite, which can spawn, real question is why after years of adding content, even currently reworking old maps, still creating fail setups such as this? Is the list of reworks they need to do not long enough? What a joke they are.

One person already reported that survivors threatened him that he will be banned, and he WAS banned, but for a short time, and it happened to him ONCE, he didn't even exploit that.

It is threatening, when the basement is there. I think that is the main point of it.

Shack isn't even a super strong structure though? Shouldn't take you more than 15 to 20 seconds tops to force them to throw the pallet down. Demo, Huntress, Nurse, Spirit, Clown and now Deathslinger don't give a ######### about shack either

Seriously though , people want every loop to be braindead easy to counter I guess. Shack has been around since launch and people still don't know how to run that loop correctly.

Killer main here and I'ma say a hard no. Infinites have been a thing for a while now. If you can't easily identify them then your probably in gold or brown ranks. Don't waste your time on them and they won't be as big a problem. Find someone who isn't at an infinite and apply pressure there. Also if the devs thought that was a bannable offense they would have reworked infinites already. Sure it would be somewhat cool for them to remove them but no one should get banned. Besides I like to abuse them when I play survivor here and there.

Infinites aren't exploits, though. It's poor map design. There is a difference. I wish the devs would light a fire under their rears and do something about it, but they're notoriously slow for actually important things that need fixing.
I would say yes to your overall question out of spite, though, simply because of the double standard the devs have. The sprint burst exploit was ignored by the devs for over two months, and they didn't do anything about it till the follow up chapter. Which makes me wonder why they care about the Nurse's exploit enough for bans. I don't agree with using exploits, but again, double standards. So, if you want that ban, go for it, though I wouldn't recommend it. Do you really wanna miss out on the Ironworks infinite while sitting out your ban?

They really should. It's downright abysmal design and somehow the developers sign off on it. Company is raking in millions yet they're acting like this harddone by indie company. No hire some more talent because some maps feel like they've come from one of those cheap knockoff games you see on steam for $0.99

they are not bannable because it's a bad design, not the players fault the infinite is there. bannable should be the spaces where you can't go throught as killer. if they exploit them that is

It's strange isn't it? it's undeniably TERRIBLE map design and yet somehow the community accepts it. Accepts it in the hope that one day the designers will realize what a mistake they made and fix it, but deep down we all know they won't. They either don't know or don't care but nobody knows which.
Or maybe Almo crunched his numbers and the stats said the maps are fine despite them being completely awful to play.
