New sabo with DS.
This is such a annoying combo the devs said "well if a survivor pops a hook when your holding a survivor they are taking that survivors place" but not in this case i was playing wraith put a survivor on the hook he gets unhooked i go after the unhooker and the guy gets healed. Down the unhooker go to put them on the hook surprise surprise ds user comes infront of me starts popping hook i smack him he pops it then i down him. Pick him up and wam ds because i totally tunneled him so basically i got noone. (Obliviously i I chased after the ds user and put him on the hook again but its still annoying none the less).

They should make it so if the killer hooked someone else or they got healed, ds shuts off. Its not anti tunnel. Its still a 2nd chance perk.

They seriously need to change DS to deactivate if you hook another survivor, or they do an action like cleanse a totem or repair a gen. It's getting annoying when a survivor will go out of their way to abuse it to save someone else from being hooked, knowing they'll just get away free anyway. The same goes for other 2nd chance perks, it's tiring having survivors just outright know they've won because of the 4 they run at all times. It takes zero skill and yet they think they're amazing for it. But if a killer runs NOED or any sort of 2nd chance, we're trash noobs.

They'll never rebalance DS, 70% of survivor players would be lost without their broken hypercheat invincibility perk to completely depend on for every escape. Granted it's slightly fairer for the first down after the rework but much more abusable afterward. It directly rewards bad plays and trolling, the perk is the worst thing in the game

Should also disable if the survivor gets in a locker. Getting kind of sick of the locker + DS tech survivors are abusing.

70% of killers would be lost without ruin. They wouldn't dare nerf ........oh wait that's right. They did nerf that. Only ruin was needed on weaker killers. Survivors don't NEED ds to survive.

Because i didnt expect it but yes i should get punished for going after another surivor downing them going to hook them then get denied by a guy sabotaging the hook i down him and pick him up and get stabbed. Thats entirely me tunneling... The survivor shouldnt be rewarded for stuff like that the devs even said saboing infront of a killer is dumb because your basically trading.Not with ds though!

Nope, you get punished because you dont expect DS when there is an Obsession. But you were like "Oh, I can hook him!" and well... You cannot. Keep him slugged, his DS will expire and the Hook will also be back.
This is just another DS-Thread where the DS could have been avoided, once again.

I was running pwyf so there would be a obsession anyway... and so your basically saying i should be forced to lose the survivor i was carrying down this survivor and then just wait however long? Wasting time when the perk could you know could just not be abused like that in the first place? I honestly hope peanits was telling the truth and nerf ds regardless of you survivors excuses. You could have avoided nemesis legion by prepalleting but what did you scream to get fixed? And they did.

Return of a gamebreaking feature =/= Killers not patient enough to wait out DS.
Sorry Bud, its your fault for being greedy and thinking you can pick up a Survivor who just got unhooked. If he got healed and was able to take two, at least 30 seconds of the DS were gone already. If you cannot wait, dont be surprised when you get hit by DS.

Nemesis legion was very avoidable as you only got the status if you stunned him with the pallet which wasnt the best decision anyway when he was in his power. 2 second stun from pallet overrides the 4 second stun so you shouldnt have wanted to stun him anyway. And okay ill humor you i slug him and wait he gets up because unbreakable i go to smack him he dead hards away. Congrats i got punished for slugging.

the mechanic of simply waiting out the DS is BAD, BORING GAMEPLAY. a lot of survivors (myself included) that run DS will get on a gen and bait a pull off while also getting a lot of the gen done. in 60 seconds i can almost pop a gen and the killer cant do anything about it.

"for the people" destroys the slug game. i used it last night with DS and sabo. The killer couldn't do anything to us despite getting downed over and over. granted it was a SWF but we just mechanically couldn't lose. its the best time to be a survivor

Nah in his "expert opinion" itll be used for a week because it "sucks" Yet it is a instaheal... i would just have a tunneled teammate come to me and instaheal them so the killers forced to either go after me whos injured or the full health teammate.

You're essentially saying: "This feature is fine because you can play around it!
Which is really not the case now with For the people and unbreakable.
But if this is the logic you're using then any complaints about NOED, tunneling etc are also out the window.
Just do bones and pressure gens!

as long as your well positioned the broken status isn't really an issue compared to the power of an instaheal. i'm not sure if you can use DS if you're downed and broken, as long as you can make some distance your other teammates can make another sabo play. Throw in unbreakable and the slug game can be easily countered. if your mildly coordinated you cannot get killed outside of a mori, you don't even need to beat a killer in chase anymore.
