Is anyone having slow killer movement on PS4?

YES! I found out that it was my controller I had to use a different controller! The problem (for me) was that the analog stick wasn’t registering me moving forward (I tested it as survivor and on a different game and the same was happening) so I recommend using a different controller and see if that fixes the issue!4

I found this through a google search, not through the site search function. Either this site doesn't have a "advanced" search function, or I'm just too dumb to find it. If their isn't one, it damn sure needs one!
I've been trying to figure out what was going on with my game for awhile now. It had gotten to the point I was ready to stop playing this game on PS4 completely. I play this game on all 3 platforms and my PS platform is my least played. I thought it was a issue with the game. Maybe a patch caused it. Maybe playing at 4K caused it. I do know if you are playing in 4K on PC, you can't have your scaling above 100% or it will screw up your mouse input (which still hasn't been fixed to my knowledge and has been this way for a very long time). I tried changing a bunch of different settings in my 4K TV and in my PS4 Pro. Nothing I did fixed it. I tried finding a thread about this issue on the forum and no dice. I did a google search and it lead me to this thread. This thread made me try a new controller and low and behold, that was the issue! I've never had a analog stick become defective in that way before. Never on a Xbox 360, PS3 or a Xbox One controller. I've experienced drift and seen them just break entirely (not mine), but never just reading input wrong. It was like I was sporadically running at a slower speed, off and on and turning to the right seemed to make it worse (intermittently). It was more noticeable as survivor due to the 3rd person view, but I could tell it was happening as killer too. I would try letting off the left bumper and re tap it trying to see if that would fix it. It was a issue I could just not get away from and made playing this game miserable! I only play DBD on PS4 and probably haven't had 500 hours of use of the system and controller. I literally turn the system on daily, play until the daily is complete and then turn the system off. It's pretty sad the controller lasted no longer than it did. Luckily I had a spare new controller in a box because I got a bargain on it awhile back. The game works as it should now with the new controller. It also works perfectly with my XIM Apex and a spare Xbox One Controller.
I have a XIM Apex lying around. It won't work with this game correctly (for mouse and keyboard input) which is why I bought the damn thing. I hate playing First Person games with a controller. So at least my XIM Apex has a actual use now. I'll use it so I can use a Xbox One Controller on my PS4 Pro. Much better quality of controllers. At least in my experience. And not trying to brag about Xbox One Controllers, the warranty policy on the Xbox controllers is trash! A ninety day warranty against defects on a $70 controller is a slap in the face iMO!
Thanks for this thread and the help! :-)
