"Currently playing with.." option on PS4 no longer works?
Is it because of dedicated servers that it no longer lets you see all 5 people you are playing with (who are appearing as "online"?

I don't play on PS4, but if the issue wasn't present before the Dedicated Servers were launched, than this is indeed the case yes.
Patch notes don't say anything about the removal of the option, so it might be an unintentional side-effect of Dedicated Servers, or it was just changed in the background because of how PS4 works with DBD.
Something like that.

Yeah, that's a dedicated server issue. The same thing happened when the servers released on PC, you could no longer see your "recent players" on Steam.
My guess is that it's because that information was previously stored locally, as part of the peer-to-peer connection, but now that it's stored on external servers, your account doesn't have access to it anymore.

Not sure what gave you that impression. I've never touched a PS4 in my life, I play DBD on PC.
Groot is a PS4 player, maybe you got us mixed up?

Could've sworn you said your platform was PS4 in a few past questions, perhaps I misread some things you were saying and came to that conclusion. I know Grootdude and Boosted are on PS4, but what made me think you also were was some past question that brought up something PS4 related, I think...
I guess it doesn't matter, atleast now I know what platform you're on for next time.

When were dedicated servers live for PS4?!?Because until like a month ago I was able to see who I was Currently playing with. Shows no one now unless they are my friend. And I don't wanna wait until the game ends to see the killers username.

I believe the servers went live on PS4 a couple of months ago. And yes, that is a feature of the dedicated servers that you can no longer see who you're playing with unless they're your friend, because their information is no longer sent directly to you but to the server.

That is a bummer. So there is no way to see who the killer is until the end of the match then?

No, unfortunately there isn't. You can sometimes see a preview of what Killer you're facing when they're new, I myself have seen this yesterday during Deathslingers release, but in-general there isn't a way to know who is playing that Killer and seeing who the Killer is through future previews.

Okay thanks @FireHazard & @Fibijean I only just noticed that this option disappeared on PS4. I wish there was a way to get this back, its nice to see who you are playing with.

I agree, I enjoyed having that option previously as well (it disappeared on PC too with the introduction of the dedicated servers). You could always post about it in the Feedback section (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/suggestions), maybe it's something the devs will consider taking on board.

This bug (maybe a bug?) is going on since the beggining of 2019. Not related to dedicated servers, at least on PS4.

Perhaps it's an ongoing issue than.
We might see a fix to it eventually, but who knows.
