Can we make the Cypress Memento Mori base kit?
It would just make getting that 4k all the more satisfying if you could finish off the last survivor yourself.

Delete Ebony and im fine with anything
5 -
Delete DS. Then you can delete the only counter to it. KEKW
8 -
Don't tunnel.
11 -
Imagine using that excuse when it's been overused and proven to be BS.
Make DS anti tunnel only with added conditions, then you'll have a valid argument. Until then, stop being a parrot. :)

Super relevant, thanks for the input
5 -
I'd love that..make moris more part of the game without being overbearing
2 -
Just dont tunnel and you won't get stabbed. It's not difficult, trust me you can do it :)
4 -
Idk DS is annoying but it's also very easy to deal with I'd argue the only time its unfair is EGC if the survivors keep trading hooks
sometimes you can get hit with the back end of DS on those last few seconds after find a survivor again, and also the survivors who purposely get themselves cause with the last few seconds of DS, Tunneling is the main reason DS works but their are very niche situations where it happens (not that I think its OP or unfair just saying)
2 -
I know that those niche situations exists. But it's not the right thing to delete a whole perk which makes the gameplay for survivors overall more enjoyable and hardcounters tunneling just so that some don't have to deal with those niche situations.
4 -
this thread was made to talk about cypress memento moris being part of the base kit, not for you guys to argue about what gameplay mechanic was the most unbalancd.
8 -
I agree, just brought em up cause tunneling isn't always the only reason, I think DS is fine as is and doesn't need any changes, most killers are just careless and don't play around it properly

I think it's safe to say mostly anyone would agree with you, If a survivor is last hook and already dead them being mori'd is a good idea, the killer gets to enjoy the animation and extra BPS from it, and it wouldn't change balance much due to the survivor being already dead on hook, I think its a very good idea and I'm surprised it hasn't already been a thing yet
2 -
taking an offering that, unless the killer is braindead, is an immediate loss for survivors and comparing it to a perk that can easily be played around if you have 2 braincells is idiotic
3 -
Eh it's kinda a free win for killer if survivor was already dropped a few times and the doors are open or almost open. It's just like not being able to kobe when solo. You have that rare scenario that otherwise wouldn't exist because another gameplay quirk overwrites it.

Agreed. lol

More low skilled killers needing more crutches to get a 4K...bravo...well played.
1 -
If mori spamming gets removed then why not?
0 -
I really hope that's a joke.
The Mori only lets you kill the last survivor. If you get into a situation where you can mori the last survivor, then you've already won the game.
3 -
You realize we are talking about the mori that lets you mori the LAST survivor? At that point the killer has already won the game. It would just be a fun conclusion for a 4k.
2 -
Nice job Clown, Cypress Mori can only kill the last survivor. Well played, bravo, the Circus waits you :D
3 -
First of all - it takes survivors being braindead for a mori to be an "automatic win" for a killer. Secondly, let me throw this at you - imagine you have 2 people hooked in the EGC. A gate is obviously opened. One kobe's and unhooks the other. The unhooker has borrowed time, they both have DS. Where is the "playing around that"?
As I said, it needs to be conditional. Now run along and keep ignoring logic by saying "it can be played around".
1 -
You already can't kobe if you're the last survivor alive.
Killers already have a lit of advantages going for them and it don't exactly speed matches up. It will also detriment a lot of killers who use this as they will miss out on Sacrifice emblem for not hooking a survivor.
0 -
Make the Cypress count as a sacrifice, then. There's no downside to this for anyone.
3 -
I've seen this suggested before. It was a good idea then and it's a good idea now.
1 -
I don't know a single person who cares about the emblem system and ranking up. Ranking up is a bad thing to begin with lmao. It's not really an advantage when it doesn't do anything that hooking and sacrificing a survivor the normal way does. The only thing you can say it does over hooking is counter DS when you're the last one alive, gates are open and they have ds up, which is kinda BS to begin with.
0 -
You'd be surprised at just how many people care about rank and complain about the emblem system. That's why I brought it up.
And the DS/Gate powered scenario is a niche one, but one to consider anyway.
0 -
And last survivor alive gets a key?
0 -
Ah yes don’t tunnel even though I chased a completely different survivor, downed him, hooked him and then came to pick up the other guy only to get 59 second ds’d.
Darn, shouldn’t have tunneled.

There's a poll you can participate in if you're actually interested in the topic:

Well maybe more people than I thought care about rank. Suppose I just assume that everyone doesn't because I've given up caring a long time ago. And you honestly shouldn't care because it's such a busted system lmao, it just leads to frustration.

One only changes the animation you die, the other changes the outcome of the match, why you have to give a key to last survivor if chests still exists and you always have the chance for it.
1 -
Just playing devils advocate. I actually support this idea.
4 -
This would make the kill by your own hand challenge available to all killers no matter if they have an offering or not, and make you actually have to work for the challenge if you want to save mori's. A great idea and its actually surprising to see a "buff" to moris that is fun and cool

This happens very rarely in niche situations. Changing the whole perk (or removing it) just so these niche situations doesn't happen anymore but for the trade that killers can shameless tunnel again is not worth.

The last survivor may still have a chance to get out. So no , I can't agree with this.
Like, for example lets say the gate was opened, the killer dropped the survivor for whatever reason after they wiggle for a bit and crawled away from hooks. They could still wiggle free. Maybe they also had flip-flop and maybe unbreakable so they charge the recovery faster. So even if the killer picks em up soon after dropping them ,they could still have a lot of wiggle progress.
This suggestion will just let the killer have a free kill. They can down a survivor after a gate was opened, pick them up and have a survivor trying to bodyblock, hit them , and then drop the one they carry after they did like 50% wiggle which will bump it to 75%, chase the other out and possibly down and hook them, then just kill the one they dropped instead of picking them up and most likely have them wiggle free.

I play both survivor and killer at Reds, and have even before that lost meaning
Playing around DS IS easy, in fact, if you are getting to EGC and they are more than 2 people up, you have already lost and any kills at that point are empty (unless they did something royally stupid)
Defending ebonies in the year 2020 makes me think you have never played a balanced Multiplayer game, there is a reason something that powerful only exists in games as a power-up (like Rockets in Halo), not something you can bring into an otherwise mostly even game.
