Monitor&Abuse is on the Deathslinger even more broken and stupid
yeah... a killer with a range weapon with a distance around 18 meters can reduce his terror radius - i mean killer jingle music to 18 meters... chases are so broken. wow. i don't like this perk on hags too.
why is Monitor & Abuse 8 meters even on this low terror radius killers?
i mean yeah, they are slower but EIGHT METERS reduced!?!?
32 - 8 = 24... that's okay.
24 - 8 = 16... not okay?!?!?
change 8 meters to 25% and it will be at least 2 more meters on this slow and low terror radius killers.
32 - 25% = 24
24 - 25% = 18
at least we have a chance to hear the killer before we see him and to react.
this is also very unfair against the deathslinger because he most likely gets a guaranteed hit on you.
sorry when i sound salty, but this is just a balance thing. i don't know why people want to buff him.
just put on M&A and you are fine. LOL

I could be wrong, but I would imagine that in places where he can get a clean shot on you, the area would be open enough that you can see him coming before he gets in range, and in places where you can't detect him properly through sight, he probably can't hit you reliably with the gun.

Ok but tier 2 myers getting a 8 meter TR AND still having 115% MS is completely fine.

Perhaps they were playing it super safe at the time since she was the first Killer in the game with any kind of projectile?

Because if she hits you with hatchets, she downs you period. Also she has Iri hatchets.

Tbf most of the time if you get hit by speargun you also get injured or 70/30 on also being downed.

I mean it's definitely possible, but him downing you with his power isn't fully in his control. His counterplay comes partially from the fact that if you stay at safe ranges and positions (He has a range limit as well, huntress doesn't) then it's difficult for him to get the down because he's slower. Huntress's counterplay comes from her lullaby range. If you get hit with her hatchets, it's usually 100% your fault, so her caveat is she can't easily control when she finds survivors because they always have advance warning. Hope I summarised that in a way that made sense.

Yes but much like stealth Killers that can attack from stealth, he needs LoS in order to use his power. Meaning you can see him even if you can't hear him. So in practice he's not exactly amazing at stealth even WITH M&A.
Plus his power isn't an instant down, so once he gets that first hit in it's chasing as normal, and he's not even close to having the best chase potential.
Also. M&A on 32 meter TR = 1407.4 Meter^2 removed from TR
But M&A on 24 meter TR = 1005.3 Meter ^2 removed from TR
So the impact in absolute terms is higher on high TR killers due to the exponential nature of circles.
