"Server unavailable" during match? Can a dev please explain?

I was playing survivor doing pretty well with only 1 gen remaining on wretched shop i believe. Then I get disconnected from server. My internet did not lapse. It says killer disconnected as well in post-game screen as well as me, yet my friends are still in the match. Tell me how can this be? Is this a killer exploit or a very serious bug within the game? The new killer was in the match maybe that has something to do with it.
Also want to point out the fact that i de-pipped for this.

me too i tried a tutorial from the forum played 5 matchs and it happpend again now im on 23h ban
