I mean... Even if they removed the notification of Thana, to use your example, every survivor worth their salt will know that you are using it once the gen progression slows down.

As far as DH and Resilience are concerned:

If they are using dead hard, they will 90% of the time be looking behind them. Fake the swing or just get close enough to them so that they are forced to use it. Don't do short attacks, but go for the long hit.

If they are using Resilience (probably paired with Spine Chill) you will know that pretty easily. They will usually refuse to heal, and as soon as you are in a chase with them, their vault speed will be very fast. Use that information against them. Don't go for the swing at the window, but rather mindgame them and appear on the other side, for example.

You will get better the more hours you put into the game, don't worry about it. :)

if you hit someone for sure thana buff will appear to the survs. if you're down and carried by a killer if you wiggle and it's red means hes using iron grasp, if you stun the killer using a pallet and the killer destroy the pallet freaking fast thats brutal strength, enduring is also a good example recovering to a stun faster is more likely having the perk, having a lot of games against a billy with enduring and spirit fury im used to it. monitor and abuse is a perk that im having a hard time identifying since you will only be able to identify it once the killer is on a chase and the killer got freakin increase of TR. there are a lot of identifiers for perks same goes with survivors. once you encountered them a lot you'll be used to identifying them.

Some if these are to encourage the survivors to do something which should in turn naturally slow the game down.

By showing thana for example it means they may want to heal which takes them off a gen. The effects of thana are not exactly worth healing for but anything which shows a slow down of progression can trick the mind of some so they want the effect gone.

I see it the same as I do filling up a car with fuel. Some will drive 15 miles to save 2 cents on a gallon when they actually spend more fuel on the journey itself than they save.
