How to make Pigs RBTs more consistent:
So Its an easy solution:
Atm your base kit grants you 4 Jigsaw boxes and every helmet in your inventory has exactly one key in one of these boxes.
This could lead to the following: Survivors get theire RBT off on the first Box.
Survivors Get theire RBT off on the last box.
The difference on these two outcomes are huge. Its either very frustrating for the killer OR the survivor.
How could you make it more consistent?
-Key Parts-
So my solution is each Helmet to have 3 obtinable Key pieces. You only need to collect two of them to get your trap off.
This would lead to outcomes like these:
Box 1: found first key part
Box 2: found second one
--> got helmet off after two boxes. which will be minimum of attemts to get it off.
Box 1: no key part
Box 2: key part
Box 3: key part
--> Maximum of boxes you have to search because the last box would also contain a key part.
For Box add ons they add another box without key parts, so running both add ons could lead to these situations:
Box 1: key part
Box 2: key part
--> minimum still possible
Box 1 no part
Box 2 no part
Box 3 no part
Box 4 key part
Box 5 key part
--> Maximum with running both add ons is now 5
However the maximum off the current state of RBT is 6 for both add ons and 4 for no add ons.
These changes would make The traps more consistent for both sides.
Pig is heavyli RNG based atm.
You can have great games where the traps slow the game down immensely because every one has to search all the boxes.
The other side would be everyone getting their taps off first try wich would deny the killers abillity.
The RBT traps have nothign consistent or skill based atm. So at least make them more consistent^^
So I think this change would be good for both sides, whtat do you think?

As a pig main ur idea is good but no
currently they do theor job even if the get it on the first box im not at all botherd they served a purpose thats about a minute their not spending on gens
and even if they get it on the first box a lot of survivors immediatly run to boxes after being unhooked in turn keeps them injured

How about you make it impossible to remove the trap until its activated. That both slows down their removal and hinders attempts to tunnel down victims at the box. Chances are the pig is engaged in a new chase by the time the RBT is activated and the victim starts looking for boxes.

Again, the pig's RBTs are not RNG because if they where then there would a chance that you wouldn't get it off.
