Iridescent Blade challenge is ridiculous....

I actually played really well, got a 4k and they still had 3 gens left to do and got the last survivor just before escaping through the hatch. Thought for sure I got at least 2 iridescent and to my surprise...so close! this is ridiculous how much harder it is to do a challenge like this than as a survivor...

I hate that I have to be super sweaty and try hard which makes everyone kinda salty and still not get the challenge....

It's much worse when you're red rank.

I feel you. I have been working on the Malicious one for days now and I keep getting gold. It also doesn't help getting really poor match making to boot. I haven't had a really enjoyable game since working on this challenge.

If you change the way you think when you approach some of the more difficult sounding challenges, they can actually become quite easy. Bring a strong slowdown build with Legion and that particular challenge is quite easy. Chases with Legion tend to end real fast and before a new one starts right back up, and if you hit the same person twice while in feral frenzy, that's 2 chases you quickly won before starting a 3rd one allowing for an easier Chaser emblem. If you hit a deeply wounded survivor while in feral frenzy instead of cancelling, then you get extra points to malicious that can't be taken away with healing which piles up towards a somewhat easier malicious emblem. Gatekeeper will be the more difficult one, but if you brought enough slowdown perks, you might be able to get it; and even if you don't, you should have added enough time to build up malicious and chaser.

I don't really care for Legion but will give it a shot depending on what perks I have for them.

but I missed iridescent because of a couple survivor's healing..wouldn't it be worse with legion?

Play legion. Don't play killers with one shot power, trapper or plague

    What Killer were you playing?

No, recovering from deep wounds doesn't count against it and if you focus only on hitting as many people as you can with frenzy, you can guarantee an easy iridescent in chaser and malicious. You don't even have to bother doing anything else and it makes Legion one of the easiest killers to rank up with.

Edit: Actually thinking on it I'm not sure if recovering from deep wounds counts as a heal but even if it does, two hitting someone with frenzy does count as two hits so you're still gaining.

Wow.... I never use Legion and because of the advice tried once, played like crap and got 2k yet somehow finished the challenge!?!? lol, something is up with that because I did worse on every level....but I'm not complaining because I'm just happy to be done with the challenge

Glad you were able to get it done and yeah, that's just how his power works. It's easy gains on Chaser/Malicious which some other killers have a harder time with.

Isn’t it 26 hits to get iridescent?
