Dont stand still neither walk foward when reeling. Walk backward, and you will be able to avoid the survivor from getting into a cover, cause you will push him so fast he wont have time to think or get into anything to block the chain.

I began to do that and the effectiveness to avoid survivors from getting behind a three or a wall is enormous. They try but its too late, cause they are pulled too fast. You can also backward and strafe right or left to force even more him out of a counter to your chain.

Going in a different directions is situational every time. Walking backwards while there is an obstacle in front of survivor might not be a wise idea

Yeah, everytime you may have a dif movement decision to better fit the chances of a hit.

But, when you go backwards and strafe to the right, for example, when the survivor is blocking with an obstacle at the left, you pull him more effectively out of the obstacle, as long as there are two forces over him: to the right and towards you, that reinforces the force to the right. Therefore, its easier to get him out of the obstacle.

After I found out that pulling a survivor while walking backwards reels them in faster, I had a MUCH better time playing deathslinger
