According to WHO (world health organization) 250k - 500k people die worldwide from the regular flu. Now given a wear a tinfoil hat and take everything i read in the news with a very large grain of salt, going by the low ball number, then gool old regular flu kills more people in a year than the number infected by this new apocalyptic disease. By twice the amount. Minimum.

The world is shutting down over what appears to me to be a bad but in no way world shattering chest cold.

Yes people are dying. And that is a tragic thing. But keep in mind that people die every single day. From age, from unsanitary conditions, from starvation, from drug overdoses, medical malpractice, murder, terrorism, accidents.

Should we not ever have a double bloodpoint event because life happens?

I get not naming the coronavirus as an event to celebrate. (Mocked? Probably but not celebrated.)

Fact is, world is shut down. People are home. They are going to play games. Give people incentive to play this one. That's all that is being said. Just some are saying it more eloquently than others.

Everything they can do to lift peoples spirit in these times is good yes? Or must we sit home, be depressed and do nothing? Games are all we have no..and books. Just waiting on getting the virus gets boring.

So yes they should do something for us. But of course not call it Corona event or something like that. But fighting the virus event perhaps.

Again, I'm not asking people to be depressed and stare at a wall for 15 days, you can play DBD all you want. Why a BP event?

But as I said before, I agree not to call it "The Coronavirus Bloodpoint Fest!" or something like that, but maybe "Awareness Event" or something similar could work.

And whats wrong with that? Literally how is it harmful to ANYONE by suggesting to have double bloodpoints for a couple of days? I'd understand being mad if it was in an offensive way or damaging to some party in some way but it's literally just people saying "We're stuck inside with a lot of time on our hands, we're playing more, bp event would be handy right now". That's it. That's the reason.

Having an actual corona virus event would be in poor taste but have double bp for a couple of days for the people like myself and many others who have lost their jobs until who knows when and are out of college/school for 6 months is completely harmless?

I see your point, however I don't understand the discussion about numbers. I mean, take the World Trade Center attack for example. 3k people died, and it was like 20 years ago. Is it OK for me to ask for a new skin? Lets say a "World Trade Center Huntress" skin (two smoking buildings instead of horns) because people are seriously asking for a "Coronavirus plague" skin. Something is not right here.

I mean, 9/11 was 20 years ago and it killed less people than the Corona, is it ok for me not to take it seriously because numbers or because people die every day?

Awareness event sounds good! Idk I mean I don't need more BP thats for sure. But I want something.

A BP Event would be a good idea, indeed. You want to know why? Because it would bring people into the game and get their mind off the damn Coronna BS we face every minute of the day. Games are, like any other form of entertainment like movies, an escape from reality. If an double BP event can help with that, then the devs should make it happen.

Same reason I approve this. It gives people something to do while they are at home.

I agree calling it a Coronavirus Event is pretty bad taste, but an event around it, maybe even a charity event based on goals set by the devs, would be great. With so many people going into lockdown across the world, they're going to have very little contact with friends and family beyond messaging or phone calls, so what better way than to create a fun event in a game where they can enjoy some time together, and maybe just for a few minutes, not feel the need to worry. It doesn't even need to be a double BP event. Just something where everyone can have fun, enjoy themselves and not feel like they have to worry about the crisis.

I like my Corona in bottles usually and with a lime. How about you? Cancer challenge is that like in late July?

I'm not sure what you are trying to get at with this thread. People want a BP event during the quarentine of the coronavirus, but I highly doubt anyone wants it called the "Coronavirus Event", or a plagueskin called "the Coronovirus skin". However you seem to agree that BHVR having an event to bring some positivity to bad situation to be a good thing. That's literally all anyone is asking for, you don't have to go for peoples throut about it - we all want the same thing.

I wouldn't compare coronavirus to 9/11. 9/11 was an incident that caused many grevious deaths in an instant. Coronavirus is an epicdemic that is effecting countries across the world, and the only people at risk are the elderly, or people whom already have respitory issues. They are two totally different things.

If you're gonna accuse some threads of even existing I expect you to atleast provide the proof. I will personally go and tell a guy "No" to the idea of a plauge skin named "Coronavirus".

I mean the idea is the to keep people playing the game which means staying at home. Every time there is a blood event the game gets probably double players. The best thing currently against the virus is to stay home. It is basically all over the news in my country. Stay home - save a life. I think the only problem is we should not ask .... they should come up with the ideas on their own. It is not really that hard
