Why do level 1 killers face off against fully fledged survivors? Match making problems
Why do i, someone who just bought the Oni at level 1, face off against people who have all 4 perks in purple?
am i truly supposed to feel like a shithole the first time i buy a new killer and wants to play him? is there any reason for the way match making pits me, a new killer, versus not new survivors? does the developers even know?
being level 12 doesnt mean jack ######### when you need to find out a new killer you have not tried before and pitting me versus fully stacked purple perk guys doesnt make my experience any better.
because it just feels frustrating to play when you have to climb such a steep hill with no perks barring one, and you face off against a full team of dudes all with perks ready to kill you, so to speak.
While the match making often dont find people near your level, it COULD at least attempt to find players who dont have all 4 perks unlocked when you play a new killer, or at least not purple perks. if thats too much to ask for, then at least when you DONT have all perks yet, then fight against people of lower rank to make up for it.
fighting people at your rank with no perks when your enemy has a total of 16 is not fair and it makes me want to honestly not level up anyone else. and it makes me hate this game.

yea.. this is why i hate ranking up because you really need those perks to survive. at least i do.
When i was lower rank, like, after the rank reset, it was easier to manage.

ill try that. but if i slug them i have to slug them all, otherwise they dont really die

You can also play the "easy" mode until you get all perks. Just play survivor.

Playing another killer and just slamming BP in to the ONI for start perks and level 15 isnt actually that bad of an idea.

That's pretty much standard procedure. I didn't touch Deathslinger until he was at least level 35 with some decent perks, otherwise it's just a stomp, particularly because I play at red ranks.
I used to never even consider playing a killer until I had at least BBQ and Chili and Ruin on them, just to give me a chance as I learned how to play them.
One of the biggest problems with the ranking system is they treat survivor and killer the same when they clearly aren't.
Each killer plays quite differently, and should have individual killer rankings, survivors are literally just different skins over the same abilities.
You can also burn iridescent shards at the shrine of secrets on perks you already own for a quick 150k BP, but keep in mind shards buy things BP cannot.

They said they were working on a system where you would have rank PER killer, so a new killer would be at rank idk 15 or so, so you have some room to play around and figure out how they work.

i dont burn iridecent shards on that as i use it to buy teachable perks that i dont wanna farm for (like Nurses calling).
i did actually play deathslinger from level 1 and im level 36 with him now. he was kinda fun but i also played from rank 17 since there was a rank reset. im level 11 now tho. he can be frustrating due to his slow speed but at the same time, i think hes fun.
Playing the Oni at level 1 how ever, just kill me already.
